Beskrivning
För vår klient söker vi nu en Package Development Engineer.

I denna roll kommer du att vara en del av ett tvärfunktionellt scrum-team och arbeta tillsammans med andra ingenjörer och teammedlemmar för att utveckla och förbättra förpackningar. Du kommer att ha ansvar för att definiera teststrategier, genomföra tester, analysera prestanda och funktionalitet hos förpackningar samt skapa och dokumentera resultat. Du kommer också att bidra till att implementera nya metoder för testning och validering av förpackningar.

Arbetsuppgifter
- Översätta krav till delsystemkrav för förpackningar och säkerställa att dessa uppfyller funktionella och tekniska behov.
- Definiera och genomföra V&V-strategier (Verifikation & Validering) inom förpackningsområdet.
- Skriv testspecifikationer, genomför tester, analysera prestanda och funktionalitetsresultat samt dokumentera resultaten i rapporter.
- Koordinera och genomföra förpackningsaktiviteter enligt befintliga procedurer, standarder och metoder.
- Driva rotorsaksutredningar och riskbedömningar för förpackningens prestanda och funktion.
- Utveckla och implementera nya test- och valideringsmetoder baserat på krav och identifierade förbättringsområden.
- Säkerställa kontinuerlig förbättring av förpackningens kvalitet och effektivitet genom nära samarbete med andra funktioner och intressenter.

Kvalifikationer
- Akademisk examen, helst Master of Science i kemiteknik eller motsvarande.
- Goda kommunikationsfärdigheter i engelska och svenska, både skriftligt och muntligt.
- Förmåga att nätverka och hantera olika intressenter.
- Starka analytiska färdigheter, strukturerad och processinriktad. Kan hantera komplexitet och osäkerhet.
- Erfarenhet av statistik och dataanalys.
- Tidigare erfarenhet från förpackningsindustrin.
- Teamorienterad och självgående med förmåga att ta egna initiativ och driva aktiviteter.
- Kännedom om scrum och agilt arbetssätt.
- Erfarenhet av fysisk testning och utvecklingsprocesser, inklusive riskbedömning och kravhantering.

Meriterande:

- Tidigare erfarenhet från produktutvecklingsprocesser inom förpackningsområdet.
- Kännedom om testmetoder för både primära och sekundära förpackningar.

Villkor
Du blir anställd av Q på heltid och arbetar på plats hos vår klient i Lund. Tjänsten är initialt på ett års kontrakt, med möjlighet till förlängning. Resor kan förekomma ett par gånger per år, och viss flexibilitet för distansarbete finns, även om huvudarbetsplatsen är på plats i Lund.

Job Summary
D&T Industrial Base Engineering is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Material Treatment, Finishing & Blank fed department within IBE is responsible for Process, Equipment and Competence of our converting process. We deliver results in the forefront of development within the area of expertise.
To sharpen us even more we are now looking for a skilled Development Engineer to develop equipment processes within the finishing area. Initial focus will be process and equipment development for fibre barrier manufacturing and visual effects.
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travels are required, mainly in Europe.
What you will do
You will be part of an experienced and agile team and you will focus on:
Development and Lifecycle management of Finishing solutions
Represent the area in different forums externally and internally
Collaboration with converting factories and suppliers
Act as an informal leader in development activities
Writing and follow up on development reports
Investigations, test planning, execution and analysis of results
Mechanical design of finishing equipment
Fibre barrier manufacturing

We believe you have
To be successful in this position, experience from working with process and equipment development and Master’s degree in Engineering will be a requirement. Experience from automated production and testing is seen as an advantage. It’s an advantage if you have experience from working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment or similar process knowledge.
You have a strong drive for results, are passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities. Since the position involves much collaboration with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be flexible with a strong ability to adjust. To communicate with people on all levels, within and outside the organization, comes natural to you, and you can work both independently and in groups and different projects. Analytical reasoning, a structured and flexible way of working is important. Experience from working in a scrum team is also seen as a merit.
A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Well acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing
Knowledge in Requirement Management procedure.

Meriterande om du har erfarenhet inom Flygteknisk utveckling/dokumentation, arbetat med maskindirektivet och har erfarenhet av SolidWorks. Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet av att arbeta med material som kompositer eller aluminium. We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to join the Lamination & Web Handling team. We own solutions related to Lamination, Extrusion and Coating equipment to ensure world class performance of the equipment in our production facilities.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires occasional travelling.
What you will do
In this role, the main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain innovative solutions related to the equipment and process used to produce our packaging materials. You will be involved in development projects, problem solving activities as well as supporting our converting factories. The job is done in an agile team where you give and get support to/from your peers. Ownership and drive of activities will be expected.

Degree of Master of science in Engineering.

Arbetsuppgifter

Utveckla nya innovativa och hållbara förpackningsmateriallösningar för att möta våra kunders behov och våra hållbarhetsåtaganden.
Arbeta i ett tvärfunktionellt scrum-team där du omsätter vetenskap till praktiska lösningar och driver utvecklingen av förpackningsmaterial från idé till marknadsintroduktion.
Designa och utvärdera prestanda och funktionalitet hos materialet som används i förpackningen, bygga kunskap och delta i problemlösning tillsammans med specialister och intressenter.
Koordinera testaktiviteter och arbeta nära laboratorier, fabriker och specialister globalt. Du kommer att arbeta både i testanläggningar och vid skrivbordet med att analysera data, skriva rapporter och kommunicera resultat till intressenter.


Obligatoriska krav:

Civilingenjörsexamen inom material eller motsvarande.
1-3 års arbetslivserfarenhet inom material- eller förpackningsutveckling.
Mycket goda kunskaper i engelska, både i skrift och tal.
Utmärkta kommunikations- och samarbetsfärdigheter.
Initiativrik med en naturlig drivkraft och vana med att arbeta mot deadline.
God anpassningsförmåga och bekväm med att hantera risker och osäkerheter.


Mervärdeskrav:

Erfarenhet av att arbeta agilt och i ett scrumteam.

As our new Application Engineer - Heat Exchanger, you will be part of a global leading company where our vision is to make food safe and available everywhere. Within Tetra Pak Channel Management & Key Components Hub Europe, we are looking for an experienced, highly motivated person to take the position Application Engineer (Heat Exchanger). You will join a small but great team, that are working closely with our colleagues in the markets and business streams. This is a permanent position and can be based in any Tetra Pak entity in Europe and requires some travelling.
As Application Engineer, you will be supporting the European markets with sizing and calculations of Tetra Pak Heat Exchangers. These types include Plate Heat Exchangers, Tubular Heat Exchangers, Scraped Surface and Coiled Heat Exchangers. Heat Transfer is a unique area where mechanical excellence combined with deep knowledge of thermal calculations and applications are a key to our leadership in liquid food processing.
As you will work with all European markets, you will quickly get a wide network within Tetra Pak.
We expect approx. 10% travelling is included in this position.
What you will do
As Application Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the heat exchanger business and providing technical expertise across the Europe market. Your role is to contribute with calculation knowledge and sales support to drive growth, in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager. You will be a part of a team dedicated to growing the key component business in Europe.
You will focus on:
Plate, Tubular and Coiled heat exchangers calculations in TPCAS and Quantum.
Make value-based quotations based on good understanding of customer needs.
Application and calculation support for European market and Channels.
Build, share and develop competence area.
Support market sales efforts by participating in presentations to gain technical acceptance by customers.
Support in identify new product development needs, as well as product improvement requirements, and provide recommendations to the global centre of expertise.
Support deployment of new products based on agreed plan with global centre of expertise.
Participate in internal networks, such as Europe Heat Transfer Network.
Contribute to set standards, best practices and guidelines.

Job Summary
We are looking for an Industrial Fibre Recycling Solutions Specialist, preferably with hands-on experience in fibre-based composite packaging recycling in specialized paper mills, who provides economically reasonable industrial recycling solutions to countries around the world, considering varying material supply and end application markets from country to country.
In this role you join a dynamic team of an industrial process engineer and paper/polymer recycling specialists, where complementary competences are pooled to best support recycling investment project managers in the field. You will report to the Industrial Recycling Solutions Director.
You can remain located in the country where you currently live. You will be travelling up to 50% of your time, with peak periods during which you will need to stay onsite for commissioning.
What you will do
As an Industrial Fibre Recycling Solutions Specialist, you will:
Support local Sustainability managers mainly in Middle East & Africa, Asia, and Europe in developing and implementing prioritized fibre recycling capacity building projects.
Have technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements.
Be responsible for technical recycling solutions of different complexity levels by analyzing recyclers' business concept, deciding on technical recycling solutions, selecting/ reviewing equipment suppliers which fit best to recyclers' business, and supervising commissioning in accordance with performance commitments.
Provide support in root cause analysis of system failures.
Be mentor/trainer for others in the project.
Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak.
Support building internal knowledge about recycling in practice across organizational units.

We believe you have
Master’s degree in Paper Science and Engineering
Min. 5 to 10 years of previous experience in paper repulping, preferably of fibre-based composite packaging.
Experience in sizing paper recycling equipment & system solutions incl. reject handling.
Good level of analytical problem-solving methodology.
Great competence, commitment, and assertiveness.
Self-driven, decisive, highly motivated team-worker.
Fluent in English (verbally as well as in writing).
Good communication skills, reliable, confident, and approachable professional.
Very good practice with MS office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
In this position you will be part of a multi cultural team based in Modena & Lund and in the role you will support building organizational capabilities connected to the new way of working supported by the introduction of our Product creation process and our new Product creation It tool solution. You will work both individually and together with colleagues inside and outside the team and support the Development organization in maximizing the value connected to our new Product Creation process and our new IT tool solution. In this position you will both take part of defining solutions, train people in using the tools in the right way but also support problem solving and acting on feedback from the users of the IT tools.

What you will do

What you will do
Develop and lead the global procurement strategy for collection, sorting, and recycling initiatives, including UBC recycling equipments and environmental services in alignment with company objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and partners for UBC recycling equipments investment and co-investments opportunities and for collection/sorting/recycling services, promotional activities and other environmental services together with stakeholders and procurement regional teams.
Drive the strategy regional execution with regional supply managers; facilitate collaboration and communication between regional procurement teams to ensure consistency and alignment in strategy execution.
Support regional supplier management team in sourcing, contracting and supplier relationship management for key collaborations in the region.
Act as a central point of contact for cross-regional procurement initiatives, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Om tjänsten
I rollen som utvecklingsingenjör inom förpackningsteknik är du med hela vägen från idé till färdig produkt! Du kommer i olika projekt att utveckla och validera tekniska lösningar i våra förpackningssystem. Du har i din roll många kontaktytor med andra avdelningar i organisationen. I samband med design, konstruktion och slutligen testkörning av förpackningssystemen arbetar du nära maskinkonstruktörerna som utvecklar maskinerna i linjen. Du kommer också att arbeta nära produktionen av förpackningsmaterial när det kommer till provkörningar av nya produkter och vid felsökning av problem som kan uppkomma. Utvärdering av våra förpackningssystem sker till största del i vårt fullt utrustade förpackningslaboratorium samt genom maskintester. Vid behov kommer du också att delta vid tester i våra kunders packmaskiner, tjänsteresor kan därför förekomma.

Du kommer att ingå i förpackningsutvecklingsteamet som består av andra förpackningsingenjörer, specialister inom exempelvis materialutveckling, sustainability, förpackningsdesign samt kollegor som arbetar med förpackningstestning. Gruppen består idag av 14 personer och rapporterar till Packaging Development Manager.

Din bakgrund

Job Summary
We are looking for a Development Engineer, who will join our Aseptic Verification & Performance team. Within Development & Technology, the Aseptic & Filling Solutions Department is responsible for developing Aseptic technology competencies, setting and maintaining corporate standards and developing technologies and methods in support of future applications.
In this role you will interact with and support the products and technologies development, through the actuation of Verification & Validation strategy.
This is a permanent position and you will be based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do
As Development Engineer, you will:
Drive laboratory activities in support to V&V strategies
Characterize food through measurement of physical properties (rheology)
Contribute to studies on Aseptic and Hygienic Technologies, including existing and new technologies
Maintain and develop current and new methodologies used for food characterization and validation of hygienic requirements; with focus on physical measurements, microbiological tests and laboratory practices
Participate in the actuation of verification & validation strategy related to hygienic and filling processes in support of product and technology development projects
Support projects with competence on hygienic systems verification methodologies and with validation strategies
Interact with an international team based in Modena and Lund.

We believe you have
Master’s degree in Food Technology or equivalent.
From 1-4 years of experience in Food Technology.
Fluent written and spoken English.
A strong analytical background, experience in preparing high level reports and in defining laboratory analysis protocols.

What you will do

Job Summary

Job Summary
Packaging material design is a key area within Tetra Pak. At the department of Materials Solutions in Tetra Pak’s Development & Technology organization we design packaging materials for our customers’ current and future needs. Identifying and defining key material properties and defining the architecture for future packaging material are the core tasks of future material developments.
As our new Development Engineer, you will focus on and work closely in our university collaborations and you will be part of a team of material specialists working in Materials Solutions. After some years’ experience and scientific work, we see you grow into the role as material specialist.
You are interested in spending some years in university environment, have an ambition to do an industrial PhD driving Tetra Pak questions in your research field internally, but also externally together with universities, institutes, and collaboration partners. You will be responsible for creating technical knowledge by quiring deep understanding in areas related to sustainable packaging materials. You are expected to propose and promote your ideas within Tetra Pak, while driving scientific area development both internally and externally.

We believe you have
You have a Master of Science in Engineering related to the fields of material physics, chemistry, nanoscience, or an associated field. Or you have a Master’s degree in physics or materials science, or an associated field. A very good command of English, both written and spoken, is an absolute must. (For applicants whose previous studies were conducted at a university where English was not the spoken language, evidence of English proficiency is requested (for example, TOEFL / IELTS results, or similar)).
Experiences from relevant areas of physics, electronics, solid state/semiconductor physics and nanofabrication are of special value. The ability for skilful laboratory work is essential and demonstrated experience will be considered a merit.
Work experience, from packaging, converting or material development, or polymer chemistry industry will be seen as beneficial as well as other experience in material development, material characterization and food safety - both theoretically and practically.
As a person you are curious, creative, collaborative and solution oriented. You are good at building trustworthy relationships with internal and external partners. You have a structured way of working and you are a person that gets things done in a fast-changing environment.

Om tjänsten

Som utvecklingsingenjör kommer du i huvudsak ansvara för att driva utvecklingsprojekt av våra produkter, hela vägen från idé till färdig produkt. Du arbetar nära vår produktion, både i samband med provkörningar av nya produkter men även vid felsökning av problem som kan uppkomma. Du har kontakt med våra kunder, både självständigt och i tvärfunktionellt team samt att du är med vid tester i våra kunders packmaskiner vid behov.

Du har även kontakt med råmaterialleverantörer och utvärderar kontinuerligt nya alternativ samt arbetar nära vår kvalitetsavdelning, både vid utveckling av nya produkter och testmetoder samt i samband med felsökning av eventuella problem som uppstår.

Du har din bas i Lund, men vi arbetar nära våra kunder och leverantörer så resor är en naturlig del av jobbet med upp till 2-3 resor per månad.

Din bakrund

Du är utbildad civilingenjör, gärna inom kemi- eller bioteknik eller har motsvarande erfarenhet från att arbeta med förpackningar och förpackningsmaterial. Du har mycket goda kunskaper i engelska i både tal och skrift. Vårt affärssystem SAP och därför är erfarenhet av detta meriterande.

Om tjänsten

Som utvecklingsingenjör kommer du i huvudsak ansvara för att driva utvecklingsprojekt av våra produkter, hela vägen från idé till färdig produkt. Du arbetar nära vår produktion, både i samband med provkörningar av nya produkter men även vid felsökning av problem som kan uppkomma. Du har kontakt med våra kunder, både självständigt och i tvärfunktionellt team samt att du är med vid tester i våra kunders packmaskiner vid behov.

Du har även kontakt med råmaterialleverantörer och utvärderar kontinuerligt nya alternativ samt arbetar nära vår kvalitetsavdelning, både vid utveckling av nya produkter och testmetoder samt i samband med felsökning av eventuella problem som uppstår.

Du har din bas i Lund, men vi arbetar nära våra kunder och leverantörer så resor är en naturlig del av jobbet med upp till 2-3 resor per månad.

Din bakrund

Du är utbildad civilingenjör, gärna inom kemi- eller bioteknik eller har motsvarande erfarenhet från att arbeta med förpackningar och förpackningsmaterial. Du har mycket goda kunskaper i engelska i både tal och skrift. Vårt affärssystem SAP och därför är erfarenhet av detta meriterande.

To be successful in this role we believe you have
Educational background with a Master of Science preferably in Chemical Engineering related to materials.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Development Engineer to be part of the Sealing Applications & Modelling team, in Sealing Solutions & Materials Engineering. With this position we would like to strengthen, preferably both our virtual and physical capabilities.
In all work, robust design principles are important corner stones and strongly embedded in our work, and the environment may differ from knowledge-building activities, product developments to troubleshooting. You will be a vital part of the work of designing, evaluating, and optimizing concepts using virtual and physical tools to predict the sealing quality.

A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential

In the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you lead the supply chain planning strategy setting for an Equipment Supply Chain category. Your role is to ensure active decision-making on supply and adjusting at the proper time horizon.

What you will do
As Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you are responsible for the high-level supply plan for a key product family. We believe you have
A Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably within the area of Supply Chain Management such as for instance Industrial Management and Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. You have at least 5 years as a Supply Chain Manager, Supplier Manager, or similar positions. Good understanding of WCM tools and/or LEAN Production is recommended as well as having the experience from driving projects or improvement teams. Hands-on experience from working with ERP/MRP systems and analytical tools is considered as a plus. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken.
You have proven leadership and networking skills and an analytical mindset. You have a strong personal drive and the ability to motivate others and influence at all levels in the organization.

Who you are

Knowledge of reading technical drawings, reversed logistics, claims and experience from SAP R/3 and QuTI-P is a merit. Basic knowledge in Microsoft office programs is required and experience in Power BI or other data tools is a valuable skill.
You are used to work in a high pace, have very good networking skills and you are used to communicate with all levels within a company. As a person, you are result oriented, structured and driven. Most of all, we believe you are a team player who strives for improvements.

What you will do

Scout and develop techniques and equipment to characterise/evaluate packaging material and packages.
Build and share knowledge and ways of working.
Drive and communicate plans, progresses, and results from your area with projects, competence areas and other stakeholders.



Central in the role is to identify parameters in Material and Package of interest for evaluation of quality and how to measure these parameters. The identified measurement can be standardized in a test method. Important aspects of a test method are repeatability & reproducibility, efficiency, and user friendliness. The test methods are developed in close collaboration with material & package developers and specification owners.

In this role as Development Engineer you will work with Material Design, which is a key competence area within Tetra Pak. We are looking for a Development Engineer who will contribute to the development of our sterilization and filling equipment for our packages. Join our competent team within D&E Equipment Engineering working in agile SCRUM projects to develop solutions for sterilization and filling applications for our packages. Lead our work to improve recycling business for Tetra Pak packaging and contribute to Tetra Pak leading the sustainability transformation!
We are looking for our next recycling business specialist who will take the lead on maximising business opportunities for recycling of Tetra Pak packaging and help lead the sustainability transformation journey in the Tetra Pak 2030 strategy. Your primary responsibility is to assess business cases for recycling of post-consumer beverage cartons and develop opportunities to improve the business, by collaborating with partners. You will investigate and analyse the recycling processes and the related investments and operational costs, as well as the quality, volumes and prices of output products and its applications. Your work should lead to development of best practices and future scenarios, linked to input and output of material quality, and geography.
You will join our central recycling specialist team consisting of seven people, supporting Tetra Pak’s business globally. You will report to the Director, Recycling Technologies and Recyclability, based in Lund, Sweden. You will be part of Tetra Pak global Sustainability team.
You will be working closely with your colleagues in the Recycling team and the Sustainability teams across the world to understand the recycling value chain for post-consumer beverage cartons and its challenges. You will network proactively internally and externally to initiate collaboration leading to best practices and business improvements, resulting in higher recycling rates.
What you will do
As Recycling Business Specialist, you will:
Define and compare typical recycling business options, linked to material properties.
Create map of product applications linked to material quality and properties
Make high-level assessments of technical and business proposals coming from external parties, as well as making more detailed analysis on further selected business cases.
Identify and collaborate with value chain stakeholders to explore improvement opportunities for the recycling of Tetra Pak packaging.
Define a strategy/scenario from a business perspective for recycling solutions from today and forward, from paper mill to sold recycled material to maximize recycling.

This is a permanent position, and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. Travels are limited, maximum up to 25 % of your time.

What you will do:

Your English skills are fluent, spoken as well as written.

Environmental Excellence is a key part of Tetra Pak’s innovation strategy. Materials Solutions at D&E Materials and Package is looking into new technologies to build the next generation of sustainable packaging materials. Identify and define material properties and define the architecture for the future packaging material is the core of future material developments.
What you will do
The team New Materials for Openings & Closures drives materials solution developments in the above area together with the program developing sustainable straws and closures. Our main responsibilities are to scout for new technologies, drive technical studies, develop technologies and products within the field of sustainable materials and converting to be used for closures, openings and straws.
 
You, together with cross functional scrum team, will be responsible of understanding needs, design, test and deploy new technologies and materials for sustainable closures and straws

You will plan and drive material design and test both inside Tetra Pak and at external collaborators sites.

The Material and Package division drives development of industry leading solutions, specifications and capabilities for packaging materials and other materials. We are now looking both a junior and a senior Development Engineer to join our team within Physical Modelling. We offer an opportunity for you to impact a central part of Tetra Pak’s Quality and Sustainability initiatives, in collaboration with project/scrum teams, Laboratory Engineers and Test Method Owners. 
What you will do
You will be involved in all phases of test method development, from very early phases to test method issues related to costumers. You’ll report directly to Manager Physical Modelling in Lund.
Main responsibilities
Develop test methods for use during internal development and for quality control in production
Scout and develop techniques and equipment to characterise/evaluate packaging material and packages
Build and share knowledge and ways of working with internal and external stakeholders
Drive and communicate plans, progresses and results from your area with projects, competence areas and other stakeholders

Central in the role is to identify parameters in Material and Package of interest for evaluation of quality and how to measure these parameters. The identified measurement can be standardized in a test method. Important aspects of a test method are repeatability & reproducibility, efficiency and user friendliness. The test methods are developed in close collaboration with material & package developers and specification owners.
Who you are
For these positions we are looking for an open person that actively shares and seeks knowledge with/from others. To be successful in these positions, you have a technical interest and quality is a mindset of yours. You are innovative and enjoy working both theoretically and practically. Also, you have an eye for details, in the same time a drive for result and push yourself and others to meet deadlines.
We believe you have a higher education in Physical, Chemical or Material Engineering or equivalent. For the senior position it is also required that you have approximately 5 years of experience working in test methods development. Knowledge of statistics and measurement technology is required, knowledge of image analysis is desired. Working experience from development within the Material and Package area is an advantage.
Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
