Who you are
About the job
As a Product Specialist you support the service organization and customers with high-end technical support and assistance onboard vessels, manage technical support related to PureBallast at the office and perform technical training.
Key tasks:
* Support customers and sales companies with issues regarding engineering and installation onboard ships - new built and retrofit.
* Support in warranty and after sales errands for new building as well as retrofit projects
* Act as technical support in field test, system testing and commissioning.
* Participate in internal and external training of the PureBallast system.
* Provide product information to sales companies and customers
What you know
You hold an Engineer degree and have at least 3 years’ experience of sailing, preferably as a Senior Officer. You are fluent in English and a good communicator with great culture awareness. Further, to be successful in this role we believe you have shipyard experience and knowledge about ballast water systems.

You know what is expected, organize and structure your work efficiently and take responsibility for defined tasks. Interaction is a key, you are a team-player and are used to build networks and maintain relationships.

The PureBallast product is marketed and sold entirely by Alfa Laval and you will act within the global Alfa Laval organization, with many international contacts, both internally and externally.
