About the job
This role sits at the intersection of business and data. You will take ownership of how data is translated into insights that people actually use. That means not just building dashboards, but understanding the business context, challenging requirements, and delivering solutions that drive decisions.

You will be part of the Data & Analytics team within the Sales & Service value stream, working in an agile setup (SAFe) where delivery is only considered complete when it creates real business value. The analytics landscape is built on a modern Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform (GDAH), with Power BI as the primary tool for reporting and visualization.

Key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports using best practices and CI/CD pipelines


Translate business needs into clear, effective, and user-friendly dashboards and analytical solutions


Act as a Business Analyst: gather, challenge, and refine requirements with stakeholders and UX specialists


Analyze business processes and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation


Bridge the gap between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity in BI initiatives


Train and support end-users, increasing data literacy and adoption across the organization


Continuously improve existing solutions by staying updated on BI trends, tools, and best practices



This is a fixed-term position ending on 1 July 2027.

Arbetsbeskrivning Uppdraget avser utveckling, drift och underhåll av den hårdvara som används vid mätning av steg- och beröringsspänningar. Arbetet ingår i kundens program för förvaltningsåtgärder, under steg- och beröringsmätningar. Kunden äger den hårdvara som används för mätning på spänningssatta ledningar.
Uppdraget omfattar att: • Upprätthålla driftsäkerheten i mäthårdvaran • Vidareutveckla system och funktionalitet • Hantera och utveckla styrning av en 300 kV brytare • Arbeta med utrustning avsedd för 400 kV-stamnätet
Konsulten ansvarar även för att hålla dokumentation uppdaterad samt aktivt driva vidareutvecklingen av mäthårdvaran. All dokumentation, programkod och material som tas fram inom uppdraget ägs av kunden.

Arbetsuppgifter
Tjänsten som forskningsingenjör är inom projektet, EPIC-LIFE: Att utforska policyer och strategier för ett effektivt nyttjande av befintliga bostäder för att stödja hälsa och välbefinnande genom hela livet: ett samskapande projekt med boende och intressenter. Bostadsbrist och låg rörlighet skapar en problematisk bostadsmarknad som påverkar både hälsa och ekonomi. Äldre bor ofta i stora, otillgängliga hus, medan barnfamiljer är trångbodda. Trots detta fokuserar bostadspolitiken främst på nybyggnation i stället för att bättre utnyttja befintliga bostäder. Vårt mål är att utveckla strategier som främjar flytt inom det befintliga beståndet.
Din huvudsakliga uppgift är i den initiala kvantitativa studien som analyserar registerdata för att identifiera ekonomiska och socio-demografiska faktorer relaterade till trångboddhet och flyttbenägenhet. Du förväntas arbeta både självständigt och i samarbete med forskare från olika discipliner. Dina arbetsuppgifter omfattar fler delar av forskningsprocessen, såsom datahantering, statistiska analyser och skriva vetenskapliga manuskript. Extern samverkan och användarorienterad forskning är viktiga delar av projektet. Det kan även finnas möjligheter att delta i andra forskningsprojekt inom forskargruppen och CASE.
Som forskningsingenjör förväntas du också aktivt delta i och samarbeta vid seminarier, workshops och möten samt i andra aktiviteter. Andra arbetsuppgifter kan också ingå.
Kvalifikationer och bedömning
Krav för anställningen är:

Centrum för ekonomisk demografi (CED) har mer än 40 anslutna forskare från Ekonomihögskolan, Samhällsvetenskapliga fakulteten, och Medicinska fakulteten som studerar ekonomiska och sociala aspekter på demografi både i historiskt och nutida perspektiv. SIP är fysiskt placerade på Statistiska centralbyråns MONA-system medan SEDD finns på CEDs egen server.
Institutionen för ekonomisk historia har omkring 70 forskare, lärare, doktorander och administrativa medarbetare. Forskningen vid institutionen omfattar områden som ekonomisk demografi, det globala syds ekonomiska utveckling samt tillväxt, teknologisk förändring och ojämlikhet.
Arbetsuppgifter och ansvarsområden
Vi söker en till två mjukvaruutvecklare med kompetens inom AI och maskininlärning för tillsvidareanställning inom forskningsprojekt som syftar till att transkribera och sammanlänka historiska individdata för hela Sveriges befolkning från år 1800 och till (cirka) 1950. Arbetet sker inom den nationella infrastrukturen SwedPop och inbegriper nära samarbete med Riksarkivet, Stockholms stadsarkiv och Umeå universitet.
Du kommer att:
Bygga och utveckla plattform för länkning av historiskt källmaterial. Inom ramen för arbetet ska en mjukvara byggas upp som effektivt kan hantera en stor mängd olika typer av data, från inläsning till bearbetning och utmatning av resultat. Mjukvaran ska byggas inom ett Linuxbaserat högpresterande datorsystem och ska implementera flera olika metoder för maskininlärningsdriven länkning av individdata i ett användarvänligt och flexibelt gränssnitt.
Bygga och utveckla plattform för transkribering av historiskt källmaterial. Inom ramen för arbetet ska också en pipeline för handskriftsigenkänning (HTR) byggas upp, som inkluderar iterativ träning och omträning av segmenterings- och transkriberingsmodeller. I denna pipeline ingår annotering och rättning som ett manuellt steg vilket kräver en annoteringsplattform som är kopplad till modellträningen, vilket möjliggör iterativa förbättringar av modellerna.
Kvalifikationer
Krav för anställningen är:
Mastersexamen eller motsvarande inom datavetenskap, AI, beräkningsvetenskap eller annat relevant område.
Dokumenterad kompetens inom maskininlärning, AI, och mjukvaruutveckling.
Mycket god förmåga av programmering i Python och .
Kompetens i moderna AI verktyg, som PyTorch, TensorFlow, eller motsvarande
Kompetens i Linux-baserade miljöer.
Flytande förmåga i svenska i tal och skrift

About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker – Junior Software Developer to the Experiment Control and Data Collection Group (ECDC).
 
The ECDC Group aims to produce the right tools for scientists to carry out cutting?edge research, using all the capabilities of our next?generation neutron facility. The group is responsible for streamlining the user experience, building and supporting the complete software data acquisition chain, and supporting scientists at ESS with their control and data acquisition requirements.
As a Junior Software Developer summer worker, you will contribute to the development of advanced software solutions for experiment control and data processing in a large?scale scientific facility. You will play a key role in enhancing experiments at ODIN, including integration of the soft X?ray setup. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to build robust and maintainable software solutions.
Your main tasks will include:
Software development & system integration
Develop scientific experiment control software (e.g. NICOS, user interfaces).
Develop data acquisition and streaming solutions using Kafka and high?performance computing techniques.
Test, verify and validate software for experiment control and metadata/data readout.

Collaboration & project work
Improve systems in close collaboration with Instrument Scientists.
Work closely with the DMSC Division in Denmark, the Integrated Control Systems Division, technology groups, and external scientific partners.
Possibly contribute to open?source projects and engage in knowledge sharing with other research facilities.

 
About you
A suitable background for this position would be:
 
Finished or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Programming skills in Python, and experience working in Linux environments.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Minimum age: 18 years.

Additional merits would be:
Familiarity with data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and hardware/software integration.
Experience from large?scale research facilities (e.g. neutron sources, synchrotrons, particle accelerators).
Experience with additional programming languages such as C++, Rust, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps practices.

About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the IT Infrastructure & Operations group in the IT division.

The IT Infrastructure & Operations group is responsible for managing and maintaining ESS data centres, private cloud infrastructure, servers and computing resources, storage and backup systems, network management, internet connectivity, wireless and mobile networks, identity and access management, and IT security.

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) summer worker, your main tasks will be to assist with regression testing of key user scenarios in the One Identity Web Portal, with a particular focus on joiner and registration workflows, and to carry out exploratory testing of the Web Portal and IT Shop from an end-user perspective.

You will help review the visibility and presentation of information in the Web Portal, document testing results and recommendations in a structured manner, and support the development and update of end-user knowledge base material such as step-by-step guides, screenshots, tips and articles.

You will also assist with service desk support activities related to the access object lifecycle, help collect and organise information for onboarding new access objects and services, and support supervised improvements to IAM-related workflows, user guidance and service request processes.

About you
A suitable background for this position would be:


• Enrolled at university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• An interest in identity and access management, usability testing, service processes or end-user support
• Experience with web applications, documentation, testing or basic front-end technologies would be beneficial
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Minimum age 18 years

You are observant, methodical and able to describe findings clearly in writing. Vi söker dig
Vi söker dig som har praktisk erfarenhet av Entra ID-administration, IAM-automation och du kan tidigare ha arbetat i hybridmiljöer med exempelvis Entra ID Connect och on-prem AD. Du har förmåga att felsöka IAM-relaterade problem (inloggning, rättigheter och åtkomstflöden). Har du erfarenhet av loggning och integration mot Microsoft Sentinel, av F5, ADFS eller Microsoft Defender ser vi det som meriterande. Har du vana vid att arbeta i större organisationer med många användare och roller kommer det att underlätta ditt arbete.

About the role: 

ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we are now looking for an ERP Application Engineer to join our Digital Solution Group. 

As an ERP Application Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing key applications that drive the efficiency of ESS operations. You will work closely?with your team, and?with stakeholders in procurement, finance, and HR to ensure seamless use of systems such as Unit4 ERP, Primavera P6 EPPM, Mercur Business Control, and CatalystOne HRM. You will also actively contribute to ongoing projects, including the implementation of the CatalystOne HRM suite, payroll solutions, and Workforce Management tools and ERP Cloud migration. 

In your day-to-day job you will: 


• Provide technical administration, configuration, and support for the Unit4 ERP system, Primavera P6 EPPM, Mercur Business Control and CatalystOne HRM platform. 
• Participate in the implementation of new Payroll and Workforce Management tools, ensuring successful integration into existing ESS systems.?These are using Medvind and HR+ from Visma. 
• Manage the architecture of the ERP landscape, e.g. system integrations and interfaces between ERP tools and other ESS systems.?
• Collaborate with your colleagues in procurement, finance, and HR to identify and implement system improvements.? 
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, ensuring operational continuity.? 
• Support the development and implementation of workflows, payroll solutions, reporting processes, and process automation.? 
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed for application support and updates. 

This is a full-time/permanent position based at the ESS Campus in Lund, Sweden. 

About you: 

We believe you have a degree in computer science, information systems, or in another related field.?You also have proven experience working with ERP systems, preferably Unit4 ERP, Primavera, CatalystOne, and/or Mercur. If you are familiar with HR/payroll and workforce management systems that is a major advantage.? 

We expect you to have well balanced expertise with system configuration, troubleshooting, and workflows, expertise with Cloud methodologies and experience working with application testing in a systematic way. You have a good understanding of ERP and HRM system integrations within procurement, finance, or HR processes.?And if you have knowledge of database management, data migration, and reporting tools that is an advantage.

About the job

Our overall mission is to protect Alfa Laval, our employees, our customers and other stakeholders from digital threats. This role is part of the BISO community in the Group Information Security team whose overall responsibility is to engage with Alfa Laval Group Digital and business units and provide guidance on security best practice and part of the SPOC for a business unit. Working closely with skilled security teams whose job is to find and prevent threats before they have an impact on Alfa Laval digital environment.



The candidate will work closely with Alfa Laval Automation Development where OT and IoT solutions are developed, it is essential that you have experience in digital product development. Alfa Laval Automation Development is committed to getting ISO27001 certified and therefore this will be a key area to drive for the candidate. Expectations are for you to lead and coordinate the activities necessary to obtain the certification with support from experts in various fields in the central Group Information Security team.

Key responsibilities will be to:

Communicate and interact regularly with key stakeholders in Automation Development on their development to ensure information security is addressed appropriately.

As the BISO you are center of competence for information security and you play an active role in supporting Automation Development management team on cyber security awareness, aligning business strategy with information security strategy and acting as an enabler for the business.
*

Ensure that information security risks within Automation Development are identified, assessed and reported; appropriate controls are in place and local procedures & activities comply with applicable customer requirements, laws and regulations and Alfa Laval Information Security policies and standards operating procedures.
*

Interact with service providers, key stakeholders, personnel from various functions including the application development, operations, network and privacy teams within the Automation Development and Group Digital.
*

What you know
Bachelor of Science degree or demonstrable experience is required. An advanced degree would be a plus. A professional security qualification e.g. ISO27001 Lead Implementor, CISSP, CISM or CISA or similar would be desirable. Be fluent in English written and spoken is prerequisite.

Through internal and external collaboration and networking, you will…

…drive and implement continuous improvements related to system and data. These could be smaller activities or larger projects.
…act within Global Sourcing to secure that implemented ways of working in systems are complied with and that data is used as expected.
…take overall ownership of Global Sourcing BI solutions.
…actively represent Global Sourcing in cross-functional forums and activities related to system and data, either by driving the activity or participating as a member.
…act as System administrator in systems used by Global Sourcing, managing business configurations in alignment with other business functions and IT.
…conduct gap analysis of data in our systems and drive data cleansing activities to secure data quality.
…support colleagues and conduct trainings of our systems as well as do communications when needed.
…develop system and data documentation.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We believe you are a relationship builder with good communication skills who enjoys collaboration and alignment. You make things happen! You eagerly deep-dive into the details, but can easily shift to see the big picture and understand system dependencies. You are a well-structured and result-oriented person with a keen interest in system and data as well as continuous improvements.

You have good understanding of sourcing and supply chain system and data needs.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* A keen interest in data quality, logic and system dependencies.
* Minimum 2 years' experience within sourcing/supply chain focusing on system and data
* Excellent experience of working in ERP, PLM and BI solutions, preferably IFS, Windchill and Power BI
* Experience of working in Ivalua and Confluence
* Excellent MS office skills, in particular Excel.
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks at the time and prioritize effectively.
* A positive attitude and the willingness to learn and develop both yourself and others.
