About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the IT Infrastructure & Operations group in the IT division.

The IT Infrastructure & Operations group is responsible for managing and maintaining ESS data centres, private cloud infrastructure, servers and computing resources, storage and backup systems, network management, internet connectivity, wireless and mobile networks, identity and access management, and IT security.

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) summer worker, your main tasks will be to assist with regression testing of key user scenarios in the One Identity Web Portal, with a particular focus on joiner and registration workflows, and to carry out exploratory testing of the Web Portal and IT Shop from an end-user perspective.

You will help review the visibility and presentation of information in the Web Portal, document testing results and recommendations in a structured manner, and support the development and update of end-user knowledge base material such as step-by-step guides, screenshots, tips and articles.

You will also assist with service desk support activities related to the access object lifecycle, help collect and organise information for onboarding new access objects and services, and support supervised improvements to IAM-related workflows, user guidance and service request processes.

About you
A suitable background for this position would be:


• Enrolled at university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• An interest in identity and access management, usability testing, service processes or end-user support
• Experience with web applications, documentation, testing or basic front-end technologies would be beneficial
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Minimum age 18 years

You are observant, methodical and able to describe findings clearly in writing. Duration and location

Beskrivning av tjänsten
Som informationssäkerhetsingenjör arbetar du i långsiktiga och tekniskt komplexa försvarsprojekt där informations- och systemsäkerhet är en central del. Du är med i hela utvecklingskedjan – från att säkerhetskrav tolkas och bryts ned, till att lösningar verifieras och dokumenteras inför leverans och godkännande.

Fartyg och ubåtar består av många olika tekniska system, exempelvis IT- och kommunikationssystem, styr- och övervakningssystem samt andra integrerade delsystem. Vissa utvecklas internt och andra köps in från leverantörer, men alla omfattas av omfattande krav kopplade till informations- och IT-säkerhet.

Din roll är att säkerställa att dessa krav förstås, tillämpas och kan bevisas uppfyllda. Arbetet är till stor del teoretiskt och dokumentationsdrivet, med fokus på analys, spårbarhet och formellt godkännande.

The European Spallation Source is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. About the role: 

ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we are now looking for an ERP Application Engineer to join our Digital Solution Group. 

As an ERP Application Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing key applications that drive the efficiency of ESS operations. You will work closely?with your team, and?with stakeholders in procurement, finance, and HR to ensure seamless use of systems such as Unit4 ERP, Primavera P6 EPPM, Mercur Business Control, and CatalystOne HRM. You will also actively contribute to ongoing projects, including the implementation of the CatalystOne HRM suite, payroll solutions, and Workforce Management tools and ERP Cloud migration. 

In your day-to-day job you will: 


• Provide technical administration, configuration, and support for the Unit4 ERP system, Primavera P6 EPPM, Mercur Business Control and CatalystOne HRM platform. 
• Participate in the implementation of new Payroll and Workforce Management tools, ensuring successful integration into existing ESS systems.?These are using Medvind and HR+ from Visma. 
• Manage the architecture of the ERP landscape, e.g. system integrations and interfaces between ERP tools and other ESS systems.?
• Collaborate with your colleagues in procurement, finance, and HR to identify and implement system improvements.? 
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, ensuring operational continuity.? 
• Support the development and implementation of workflows, payroll solutions, reporting processes, and process automation.? 
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed for application support and updates. 

This is a full-time/permanent position based at the ESS Campus in Lund, Sweden. 

About you: 

We believe you have a degree in computer science, information systems, or in another related field.?You also have proven experience working with ERP systems, preferably Unit4 ERP, Primavera, CatalystOne, and/or Mercur. If you are familiar with HR/payroll and workforce management systems that is a major advantage.? 

We expect you to have well balanced expertise with system configuration, troubleshooting, and workflows, expertise with Cloud methodologies and experience working with application testing in a systematic way. You have a good understanding of ERP and HRM system integrations within procurement, finance, or HR processes.?And if you have knowledge of database management, data migration, and reporting tools that is an advantage.

A Project Manager consultant plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and thirdparty contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Who is your future team?

OM TJÄNSTEN:

Om enheten

Du kommer att tillhöra Genomförandeenhet Syd (GE Syd) med placering på Revinge garnison i Revingehed, strax öster om Södra Sandby. GE Syd bedriver verksamhet som säkerställer Försvarsmaktens förmåga att kommunicera och leda, dygnet runt - året om. Enheten består av drygt 180 medarbetare fördelade på 7 avdelningar på 6 orter inom Södra Militärregionens (MR S) område.

                  

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter

Som IT-tekniker kommer du att ingå i en arbetsgrupp som ansvarar för second line support och drift vid Revinge garnison. Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter består bl.a. av:


• Drift och underhåll av IT-materiel.
• Användarsupport.
• Installation, felsökning och omsättning av klienter och kringutrustning.
• Installation, felsökning och omsättning av AV-utrustning.
• Dokumentation och materialhantering.
• Lagerhantering av IT-utrustning.
• Med eget ansvar planera, genomföra, avsluta och dokumentera tilldelade ärende inom given tidsram.

Arbetet utförs både enskilt och tillsammans med andra. Övningsverksamhet och utbildning är en naturlig del av tjänsten. I tjänsten kommer du att få den handledning och kompletterande utbildning som krävs för att du ska få bästa förutsättningar för att kunna genomföra ditt arbete.

 

Kvalifikationer


• Gymnasieutbildning med godkända betyg.

Who is your future team?
You will be part of our Embedded Software team in the department of System Products Connected. We develop the software used in a variety of products within AXIS body worn solutions along with our initiative within other connected products. Communicate and interact regularly with key stakeholders in Automation Development on their development to ensure information security is addressed appropriately.

Who is your future team
You will be part of our product radar team, at Fixed Cameras & Radar Electronics. In all we are a group of fifteen engineers, where today three works on our radar side. You will also seamlessly interact with SW radar engineers, and Axis radar technology team. Together these teams act as a radar-competence hub and deliver world class radar solutions to a growing number of new products at Axis.

The role
Radar, in association with AI & deep learning, provides critical and unique metadata to new data driven capabilities in our surveillance systems. In our product development team, you will take responsibility for design, development, verification and certification of the radar electronics solutions in our products. The starting point, in technology, is our common radar platforms.

What you will do
You will incorporate radar platforms in our product designs and verify performance, taking part in our cross-functional development projects. This can include adjustments and further development to the platforms and antenna designs, it will call for design of surrounding elements in the product, and it will include verifications and certifications.

You will work closely with Axis radar technology team and follow the technology development. You will interact much with them and with radar SW, throughout the product development. Externally, you will work with suppliers, test houses and our EMS partners (production) together with our operations organization. Now and then you will also meet our customers.

What will you do as a Global Sales Engineer

We are now extending our models into robotics, where they act as an adaptive layer between higher-level learning systems, such as reinforcement learning (RL) and vision-language-action (VLA) models, and low-level actuators. This layer can significantly reduce the sim-to-real gap and address the core deployment challenges of the real world in general-purpose robotics. The systems you help design will be exercised against real-world constraints and tested on real robotic platforms.
To do this exceptionally well, we need deeper, hands-on understanding of the limitations of RL in real systems. You will look into how our model interacts with RL policies in practice and help quantify Intui’s capabilities alongside state-of-the-art RL in real-world deployments.
This role is about fixing some of the largest problems within general-purpose robotics today.
Our software stack is built from scratch in C/C++. We do not rely on common ML frameworks. We build what we need. The work is deep, interdisciplinary, and exploratory. You will translate theory, papers, and experimental results into robust, real-time systems that can be tested in simulation and, increasingly, on real robotic platforms through partners.

Explore and evaluate RL approaches in the context of robotics and embodied control of humanoid robots as well as other form factors


Design and run experiments to understand the underlying model dynamics, limitations, and failure modes, especially while adapting to real-time changes

Tasks and responsibilities 
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you work close to the hardware in technically demanding development and verification projects. In this position, you will lead the design and integration in one of our core end-to-end supply chain processes: Forecast to plan, Inventory to deliver, Order to cash, Plan to produce, Source/Procure to pay - ensuring that the business perspective, process goals and ambitions are secured in the implementation, and as well aligned with our overall end-to-end supply chain vision at Axis.

Who is your future team?
Operations is the part of Axis' organization that is responsible for the supply and distribution of our products. We are also the link between Axis R&D and our global market, working with industrialization of new products. This includes e.g., Purchasing, Order Handling, Production, Sourcing, Production Preparation, Sales & Operations Planning, Quality & Environment, and Logistics. We define our end-to-end supply chain as "n" tier supplier all the way to our end customers.

Your direct manager and primary team will be within the line organization responsible for your specific process. In parallel, you will be part of a matrix team alongside other Process Leads, led by the overall Operations ERP Head Lead in our Operations Development organization. Thus, you will have a close team in the line organization but also in a matrix team set up.

What you'll do here as Process Lead?
You will guide and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Line Managers, aligning functions, and securing a coherent operational and end-to-end design throughout the program and coming years. Joining early in the program gives you a unique opportunity to influence direction, build the team, and play a pivotal role in one of Axis' most important transformations to date.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Sign-off for process design within your domain, confirming readiness and alignment before ERP Head Lead approves end-to-end.

* Lead process design within your area - map "as-is" and define "to-be" future capabilities for your process and align it with the overall supply chain vision and ERP Design.

* Secure alignment with relevant stakeholders and subject-matter experts, and other adjacent processes.

We are a team within our Research and Development organization, consisting of individuals with diverse expertise but united by a common goal. Our mission is to guide and support our Engineers and Suppliers in selecting and producing the best possible Electrical solutions, with a strong emphasis on component qualification, footprint/solderpaste design, and DFM for PCBA design.

What you'll do here as Industrialization Engineer?

In this role, you will be involved in product development projects from early stages through to volume production. You will participate in concept studies and early projects to identify new and optimal solutions for our products, with a particular focus on component qualification, footprint/solderpaste design, and PCBA design.

You will collaborate closely with both engineers and contract manufacturers to guide and steer the best possible manufacturing setups for our products. Your responsibilities will include qualifying manufacturing processes through test boards, DFM activities, and supporting PCBA & SMT readiness for our products.

Our objective is to ensure the seamless transition of early prototypes into volume production by proactively addressing key aspects of producibility, reliability, quality, and cost optimization, with a strong emphasis on component qualification, footprint/solderpaste design, and PCBA design.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?

As a person, you are easy to work with and a team player. You are helpful and flexible, knowing what is most crucial and able to prioritize. You are an expert in your field, particularly in component qualification, footprint/solderpaste design, and PCBA design, and have the curiosity to find new solutions and keep yourself updated on developments within your area.

You are a specialist within SMT/PCB Assembly production and related areas, with 5+ years of relevant work experience, including firsthand experience from production environments. We believe you are very familiar with production equipment and know how to use it. You are analytical and can write instructions and processes. Sharing your knowledge is important to you, as is giving training both internally and externally.
