At MAX IV, the Technical Division builds and supports the technologies that enable cutting-edge research, while continuously improving how the facility operates.

Within this division, the Software team develops and maintains the control systems, data acquisition software, and user interfaces that researchers rely on every day. We focus on increasing functionality and reliability across the facility to meet the demands of world-class science. We provide laboratory wide software solutions following international standards in synchrotrons, such as data acquisition, control system, web-based user interfaces, distributed hardware control, scanning tools for running experiments, and metadata harvesting, to meet the continuously evolving research requirements.

You will join an open and friendly team of 20 developers of diverse backgrounds, where continuous improvement and mentorship is part of our DNA. As part of the Software group, you will work in close collaboration with scientists as well as network, system, software and hardware engineers and scientific software experts. Your main work tasks will be

- Developing mission critical software used at the beamlines to conduct their experiments
- Support the beamlines to achieve operational excellence by following up their needs and addressing issues
- Developing software projects from low level hardware interfaces to high level optimized applications mainly in Python and under Linux
- Increasing the functionality and reliability of the beamlines in order to realize their scientific potential
- Troubleshooting and finding simple user-friendly solutions to complex problems
- Participating in team planning and resource estimation as well as improving the group infrastructure.

To be successful in this role you need to have the following qualifications

- A university degree in a technical or scientific field
- At least 2 years professional Python 3 programming experience
- Knowledge of distributed control systems, such as Tango, Epics, or similar
- Experience of software development in a Linux operating system environment
- Experience with an Agile team environment and familiarity with unit tests, continuous integration and delivery
- Solution focused and user driven

- Experience with operation support in a scientific environment
- Experience in development for Tango Controls or EPICS

Ditt framtida team Du kommer att jobba i ett av kundens sju mjukvaruteam inom Body Worn, som tillsammans ansvarar för hela systemlösningen, från kameror och kontrollenheter till mobilappar för iOS och Android samt molnbaserade tjänster.
Deras utvecklingsteam är små, dynamiska och tar ansvar för sina egna expertområden. Ditt team fokuserar på att utveckla mjukvara för de inbyggda enheter som utgör hjärtat i Body Worn-systemet. Arbetet sker nära användarna, både genom egna utvecklingspiloter hos kunder och i nära samarbete med deras säljorganisation, vilket gör att era lösningar snabbt testas och kommer till praktisk nytta.
De drivs av nyfikenhet och av att leverera hög kvalitet till marknaden, och de lyckas tillsammans. Teamet arbetar agilt med Linux-baserad mjukvara, där majoriteten av tjänsterna skrivs i Go och integreras med DBus, REST och GraphQL. Ni ansvarar för backend-delen och samarbetar tätt med kollegor som utvecklar frontend och kamerornas mjukvara. All kod hanteras i Gerrit, och integrationstester körs kontinuerligt i Jenkins.

Om rollen Som Golang Software Developer blir du en central del av teamet som utvecklar Linux-baserad mjukvara för våra kroppsburna kameralösningar. Du arbetar främst i Go, men bidrar också i helheten genom att utveckla tjänster som integrerar med DBus, REST, GraphQL och gRPC. Arbetet innebär att du löser komplexa end-to-end use cases med höga krav på kvalitet, säkerhet och stabilitet – alltid i nära samarbete med kollegor från firmware, frontend och test.

Who is your future team?

We're a collaborative group of engineers passionate about solving complex problems and driving innovation. We develop and maintain the firmware of the Intercom products in the Axis portfolio, which also includes ensuring a market leading camera solution. You will be collaborating with co-workers from different disciplines, such as mechanical design, electronics, software, production testing and of course with other imaging engineers.



What you'll do here as Product Imaging Engineer?

You will work in our firmware development team, where your key responsibility is to ensure our developed intercom products are delivered with high image/video quality. The work is both hardware focused (e.g. choosing sensor and optics in an early stage of the development and possibly writing parts of sensor back-end), software focused (e.g. tuning the image pipeline), as well as focused on production (e.g. defining quality standards in terms of production test limits). In addition, you will sometimes have the possibility to do embedded development in other areas of our products (audio, RFID, etc.) to broaden your horizons.

We focus on continuous learning and growth and allocate 10% of our time to exploring new ideas and improving our skills. Maybe you will be the one coming up with a cool new feature to our intercoms or a more efficient way of working?



Who are you?

We believe you are a team player who challenges the way we work to make sure we learn and improve. It will make us very happy if you have some experience in imaging, hopefully previous work experience or maybe a big personal interest in photography. While our Linux based platform supports other languages, such as C++, Rust and Go, most of our code is written in C, so we believe that this is your preferred language. The ASIC verification team ensures that the ARTPEC chips are working correctly, before they materialize into an actual chip. To do this, we use simulation as well as formal methods. Verifying complex chip designs requires the use of specialized and advanced techniques.

The team is relatively small (20+), and you will have the possibility to work with a wide variety of tasks and hardware modules. As we work with agile methods, you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to meet our goals.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced/senior engineer with a few years of genuine experience in ASIC verification and a talent for programming. We assume that your main focus has been Coverage-driven Constrained Random Verification using SystemVerilog and UVM, on module and/or sub-system levels. However, if you have newly graduated with a relevant university degree, feel free to apply anyway.

You also have a genuine interest in programming, e.g. Python. We regularly implement and maintain efficient software tools that are essential for our verification process.

We emphasize continuous knowledge/experience growth for each team member and the team as a whole. Part of this requires continuously following new developments in ASIC verification since this field continues to develop rapidly. Our verification environments are quite elaborate, so developing and maintaining them requires a good understanding of digital hardware as well as software engineering principles. In particular, we make extensive use of object-oriented frameworks. Debugging and identifying potential problems in the hardware design is also a fundamental part of the job.

The AXIS OS System is responsible for user-space Linux platform system functionality and Linux platform SW architecture. This role is within the GPU Modelling Team, where we have an amazing opportunity for a graduate developer. Our models are written in C++ and implement in detail the micro-architecture of our GPU products. They are extensively used by teams within Arm for different use cases and are delivered to external partners.

This opportunity is all about understanding the functionality and accuracy of our analytics use case solutions. To ensure our solutions perform at their best you will be responsible for evaluating AI model and use case accuracy performance on real-world scenario data set coverage and key metrics. You will craft, curate and maintain the essential video evaluation datasets and metrics for scene and use case coverage. For this, you will also, define, update, and implement annotation guidelines that are clear, consistent, and reflect diverse real-world conditions to ensure consistent, reliable ground truth for evaluation. We want you to take charge of annotation quality control, working hands-on with tools like CVAT and collaborating with annotators.

This isn't a role where you hand down specs and walk away. This is about being in the engine room - building the data sets from the ground up, ensuring they are relevant, structured, accurate, and reflective of the real world in all its complexity. Think edge cases, shifting light, moving shadows... Advocate for dataset completeness and scenario coverage, ensuring AI models, algorithms and use cases are tested against real-world edge cases and safety-critical events. You will evaluate and analyze AI model outputs, algorithms and use case accuracy performance using your curated datasets and key metrics - accuracy, precision, recall, confusion matrix, false positive/negative rates, product metrics etc - to uncover strengths and opportunities. You won't be training AI models from scratch but will work closely with machine learning engineers and algorithm developers to translate evaluation insights into validated and improved use case performance. As such you will contribute to data-driven AI model, algorithm and use case debugging, identifying whether errors stem from data gaps or algorithm limitations.

Who are you?
You believe that great analytics solutions depend on appropriate data validation and evaluation - and that the details matter. You bring deep experience as data scientist or similar, designing and working with video analytics datasets, preferably in safety-critical or surveillance contexts. You are skilled in accuracy performance evaluation of analytics use cases and have practical knowledge of evaluation metrics and best practices for AI model, algorithm and use case testing and validation.

You are detail-oriented and hands-on, driven to translate evaluation data into actionable insights. You are comfortable diving into annotations both in terms of crafting guidelines and working with tools e.g. CVAT or developing internally crafted tools if that better suits the needs at hand. Axis has a long history of developing integrated circuits for our products. The series of ARTPEC chips is a cornerstone in most Axis products, as discussed here: Axis System-On-Chip, and ARTPEC-9. The ASIC department is currently working on developing the 10th generation of the ARPTEC SoC using the most modern chip technology available. See also The history of ARTPEC.

The ASIC verification team ensures that the ARTPEC chips are working correctly, before they materialize into an actual chip. To do this, we use simulation as well as formal methods. Verifying complex chip designs requires the use of specialized and advanced techniques.

The team is relatively small (20+), and you will have the possibility to work with a wide variety of tasks and hardware modules. As we work with agile methods, you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to meet our goals.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced/senior engineer with a few years of genuine experience in ASIC verification and a talent for programming. We assume that your main focus has been Coverage-driven Constrained Random Verification using SystemVerilog and UVM, on module and/or sub-system levels. However, if you have newly graduated with a relevant university degree, feel free to apply anyway.

You also have a genuine interest in programming, e.g. Python. We regularly implement and maintain efficient software tools that are essential for our verification process.

Our verification environments are quite elaborate, so developing and maintaining them requires a good understanding of digital hardware as well as software engineering principles. Your future team
The AXIS OS System is responsible for user-space Linux platform system functionality and Linux platform SW architecture. Our mission is to create the most secure and reliable platform, while ensuring ease of use for developers building new features. The AXIS OS System consists of three smaller teams: "OS Architects" team, "Linux framework and Events" team and "Runtime" team. Vem är du?
Du har minst tre års erfarenhet som utvecklare och är van vid att ta initiativ, analysera och lösa problem. Du är flexibel och bra på att prioritera utifrån situationen.
Du har goda kunskaper inom:
Laravel och PHP
Relationsdatabaser som My eller Postgre
JavaScript ramverk som Vue och React (skrivet i TypeScript)
Versionshantering i Git
Agila arbetssätt som Scrum eller Kanban
Svenska och engelska i tal och skrift

Meriterande är erfarenhet av:

What you will do:


- Be the brains behind next-gen RAN RU systemization define, develop, and deliver game-changing features.
- Dive deep into system studies, optimizing L1 and RRM solutions, signal processing, and wireless performance.
- Build and refine software simulations (link-level and network-level) to test and perfect solutions.
- Collaborate across global teams to ensure seamless, cutting-edge integration.
- Help define the future of 5G/6G products and drive compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor your teammates while creating a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot and support product verification and deployments.


The skills you bring:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless systems, with a passion for 5G and 6G.
- A knack for systemizing RAN products setting the vision, leading the charge, and delivering results.
- Good knowledge of communications theory, digital signal processing, and multi-antenna systems (MIMO, beamforming).
- Coding chops in C and Python.
- An analytical mindset that loves solving tricky problems and getting things done.
- Proven ability to lead innovation and come up with novel solutions.
- Stellar collaboration and communication skills you know how to rally a team!
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean development practices.

Job description
The Engineering part of Connectivity is now looking for both mid and senior Embedded developers to join our team of consultants.

Primarily you will work with embedded software development in C /C ++ in different operating systems with focus on RTOS, Linux and Android. Since the projects are related to IoT, you will work with/close to other connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, WLAN, NFC, etc.

Technologies and assignments vary with each project and customer. You often work within cross functional teams in close collaboration with other disciplines such as electronics, radio & antenna, mechanics, quality assurance and also other software related areas.

Basic qualifications
About three years experience of embedded software
Experience from product development life cyclce
C and/or C++ experience
Bash and/or Python
FPGA/VHDL development
Digital Signal Processing

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience
