Project
This requirement is for a Cognizant’s global chemical client headquarter in Germany. Their IT division is going digitally enabled. This project is about delivering DevOps and Cloud services for overall IT landscape. The current set up within organization is mainly characterized by a separation between Application Development and Infrastructure Provisioning on one hand and Application Deployment on the other. The former is happening outside the team, for the latter our goal is to create a centralized service all of departments within organization. Primary focus areas are Agile, DevOps and Application- Infrastructure Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities of the job
As a DevOps Engineer (10+ years of experience), you will be in responsible of delivering expert DevOps solutions for wider Volvo Cars project teams in areas such as Agile planning, source code management, build-deployment, testing, and application monitoring. The DevOps engineer role is responsible for managing azure stack of technologies for overall operations include Azure DevOps, GitHub, Atlassian Suite, SonarQube, Backstage, Performance center, UFT and Monitoring tools like Apica and AppDynamics. You have knowledge of some or all the tools like GIT, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Containerization, Container orchestration, Argo CD, AWS/Azure environment and OpenShift container platform. You also carry working knowledge of software development using MS Technologies and scripting using bash, PowerShell.

Skills & Experience
Should possess excellent expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira & Confluence for Agile and SCM requirements.
Should possess excellent expertise in various build & deployment solutions using Azure pipelines and GitHub actions in various platforms.
Should have hands on experience in SonarQube, Performance center, UFT for various test requirements.
Should have hands on experience in Apica & AppDynamics to troubleshoot and identify the application/infrastructure monitoring issues.
Analyze new features in sprint user stories and determine potential impact to performance
Determine performance testing strategy based on performance requirements from product & development
Working knowledge in Azure, AWS environment, GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, ServiceNow
Working knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, Jenkins.
Experience with Integration API testing via Rest and Soap services with JSON and XML
Knowledge of DevOps automation using any of the script-based language like python, Shell, Perl etc.
Monitor overall operational landscape availability in order to ensure adherence to agreed service levels (the scope is also inclusive of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and weekly reports of activities and operational status)
Liaise and coordinate with ITS Project Leads and Developers to effect proper monitoring protocols
Report on performance and end-user issues
Create and maintain appropriate documentation and charts describing hardware setups, diagrams, allocations, overall inventory, etc. (this includes suggestions for the update and improvement to existing SOPs)
Participate in information security audits and implement corrective and preventive action plans approved by business units
Attend relevant training programs & update team on trends in technology – emerging technologies, service models, industry trends etc.
Understating of AWS, Azure environment to support monitoring platform
Knowledgeable in Agile/Scrum SDLC methodology
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Must be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Ability to work independently, self-motivated and a strong team player
Understanding of SaaS delivery model
Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal client facing skills.
Qualification & Professional Certification:
Fluent in Swedish and English language
Bachelor in Computers / IT
Agile / SAFe Certification - Optional
Certification in any of the above tools preferably Azure stack & GitHub.

About the role
As the Pre sales Architect , you will work alongside Business Development and Client Directors, Solution Managers, Solution Leads and Azure Practice Group Leads (PGL) and own the detailing of the multi-domain solutions for our clients.
You must have a solid understanding of the challenges that our clients are facing, and how to address them using Microsoft cloud services and technologies across Applied Innovation (e.g., AppDev and Data & AI), Business Apps (D365 and Power Platform) Intelligent Cloud (Azure and IoT) and Intelligent Workplace (Endpoint / M365). This should be combined with experience and high-level understanding of large-scale cloud solutions architecture, novel commercial and delivery models, helping clients transforming into a cloud business, developing new services using digital, becoming more agile and resilient.

Requirements
We are looking for you who have a broad set of technology, delivery, and commercial skills, who can demonstrate an ability to shape our client’s transformation agenda, innovation roadmaps and new operating models.
Experience of delivering transformational programmes/projects, including scope that includes managed services and outsourcing.
Having lead large scale solutions using the Microsoft cloud technologies and services and other technology services.
Proven ability to engage, build, and foster a team-oriented environment, including working across matrixed internal, client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
Provides formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential.
