Elastisys is a fast-growing company at an exciting stage that offers cloud-based solutions and services for customers who want to run their applications and services in a scalable and secure way. We work at the forefront of the niche cloud-native IT area and our services and products are used by companies operating both within Sweden's borders and on the European market, mainly in education, financial services and in health and medical care. We are active members of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). We are Sweden's first Kubernetes Certified Service Provider (KCSP) and we contribute actively to the open source community!
We are board and video game enthusiasts, musicians, marathon runners, vegans, devoted parents, coffee drinkers, TV-show watchers, black-belt wearers, dog walkers, and quiet evenings likers who all value our flexible, knowledge sharing work environment and take pride in our diverse and caring culture.
We have 49 full-time employees coming from 10 different nations. 35 of us are engineers from juniors with little experience, to seniors where several have PhDs in cloud technology.
What we do
In our Professional Services team (which we are now looking to strengthen), we help national and international customers with the implementation of cloud native open source technologies. The projects are versatile, niche and at the technological frontline of cloud-based development. We regularly work across most of the cloud native ecosystem and with open source projects surrounding Kubernetes.
Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for both junior and senior engineers to join our Professional Services team. As an engineer in this team, you will work together with team members in various consulting projects together with our customers.
MUST HAVEs:
Basic experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes
The desire to learn cloud native technologies
Very good communication skills in English (writing and speaking), as this is our company language
Caring about customers and other team members

Vad vi gör
I Elastisys kommersiella organisation jobbar vi med utveckling, marknadsföring och försäljning av våra tjänster. I vår portfölj av tjänster finns vår drifttjänst, våra konsulttjänster samt våra utbildningar. All försäljning är B2B, framförallt till företag som utvecklar applikationer och sätter stort värde på säkerhet och regelefterlevnad. Våra kunder finns inom branscher som exempelvis sjukvård, finans, HR, offentlig verksamhet med mera.
Vårt kommersiella team sitter idag utspridda i Piteå, Umeå (HQ), Stockholm och Lund (kontor).
Vem vi letar efter
Just nu behöver vi förstärka vårt kommersiella team, som idag består av åtta personer, med en Marketing Communications Specialist. Du kommer att bli den andra person i vår kommersiella team som jobbar 100% med marknadsföring och kommer därför ha stort inflytande över hur vi på Elastisys utvecklar vår marknadsföring framöver.
Mycket god kommunikationsförmåga i både tal och skrift på engelska och svenska är ett krav.
Elastisys marknadsföringsstrategi är främst centrerad runt demand generation. Eftersom det är komplex B2B försäljning vi jobbar med så betyder det att många av våra prospects återfinns i “the dark funnel” där vi genom marketing vill arbeta med att vara top of mind. Vi uppnår detta genom att kontinuerligt ge en stor massa beslutsfattare värde och utbildning genom vår content i en rad olika kanaler. Vi jobbar bland annat med att skapa bloggartiklar och free guides, vi har ett Linkedin team som publicerar ca 10-15 posts varje vecka, och vi är föreläsare samt deltagare på ungefär ett event varje månad (exempel).
Som Marketing Communications Specialist kommer du att rapportera direkt till Simon Ekman, Head of Commercial.
Under hösten och vintern 2023 planerar vi att anställa ytterligare 1-2 personer till vår kommersiella team.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
Huvudmålet med Elastisys marknadsföring är att generera s till vårt säljteam samt att attrahera individer i branschen med rätt kompetens så att de söker sig till att jobba hos oss. Detta betyder att dina arbetsuppgifter bla kommer att inkludera följande.
Att arrangera kundevents i Elastisys regi på olika ställen i Sverige och i framtiden i EU
Att vara drivande i Elastisys medverkan i relevanta “communities” som exempelvis CNCF, Cloud Native Nordics, Umedev och liknande
Att utföra löpande marknadsanalys i form av kundintervjuer och liknande
Att skapa och kontinuerligt driva ett “Elastisys newsletter”

Att vara drivande i vårt externa kommunikationsarbete, ton, innehåll, vinkling, etc
Att jobba som beställare/kravställare/projektledare med byrå i specifika projekt
Att vara kontakt och sparringpartner med våra säljare angående produkter och trender
Att analysera och utveckla copy på vår hemsida, open source dokumentation och andra kundnära informationskanaler
Att kontinuerligt utveckla nya och befintliga processer i vårt marknadsföringsarbete

Kvalifikationer
Du har djup förståelse för och minst 2 års erfarenhet av marknadsföring och kommunikationsarbete i kontexten komplex B2B försäljning
Du är social och väldigt utåtgående som person samt drivs av att jobba och kommunicera med människor

Bonus, men absolut inget krav
Du har jobbat inom en tekniskt innovativ bransch tidigare
Erfarenhet från att arrangera events
Erfarenhet från att jobba med employer/recruitment marketing

Projekten är mångsidiga, nischade och på den tekniska framkanten av molnbaserad utveckling. Vi arbetar med det mesta av det som det molnbaserade ekosystemet erbjuder inom open source.

You should be comfortable in customer conversations. You will, on a daily basis, prospect for new customers. Sales Development Representatives are responsible for filling Elastisys sales pipeline with qualified leads. SDRs might also contact inbound leads, take the lead on discovery calls and work together with more senior colleagues to close deals. SDRs will work with the technical presales team in sales calls, write proposals and drive opportunities with the guidance of more senior colleagues. SDRs will get an increasing amount of responsibility for the entire sales process with growing experience and expertise eventually transitioning into a junior Sales Executive position.
Experience from the IT industry, cloud or Kubernetes is a big plus. Being at a professional level in Finnish, or any major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish etc) is a bonus, but by no means a must.
As a person you are driven, independent and result oriented. In addition you are a good listener, a real team player and have great communication skills - especially in English. Knowledge sharing is in our DNA: We help drive cloud native awareness and adoption through hosting meetups, talking at conferences and writing technical blog posts about the cloud native ecosystem. Internally, we share knowledge through weekly tech seminars and lessons learned sessions.
We are currently 25 full-time employees from 7 nations. Our 20 engineers cover the entire experience spectrum from “just out of the university” to senior engineers with PhD degrees in cloud computing. Our team in Umeå and Lund has doubled in size last year, and we are now looking to expand further.
What we do
We improve modern application development and operations processes using cloud native open source projects. We contribute to existing projects as well as build our own open source solutions, for example Compliant Kubernetes, a Kubernetes distribution that allows companies to be agile even in highly regulated environments, such as FinTech and MedTech.
We also work together with international customers on open source implementation projects that are diverse, niched and on the technical frontlines of cloud native computing. Every project is unique, but the value we offer our customers is always high. We regularly work across most of the cloud native ecosystem and with open source projects like;
Automation tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm and Terraform;
Security and compliance tools such as Falco, Harbor and OPA;
Observability tools such as Prometheus, Istio, Grafana, Elasticsearch and Kibana;
Pipelining tools such as GitLab and Jenkins;
Highly-available databases such as MariaDB, My, Redis, Postgres and Vitess.

We also work with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, a wide range of European clouds and OpenStack and VMware.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for both junior and senior engineers. As an engineer you will work closely with the open source ecosystem, both in product development and customer projects. Being a lean and agile company that works closely with its customers, engineers also have the opportunity to get rapid product feedback through 2nd line sales and support.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for experienced existing IT sales representatives as well as hungry and business savvy graduates that want to step into an enterprise sales and business development role.
You should be comfortable in IT sales, preferably with mid to enterprise size organizations. You will on a daily basis prospect for new customers, contact inbound leads, work together with the technical presales team to run demos, craft proposals and manage existing accounts. You will also work closely with the marketing team.
Experience from international sales, IT infrastructure or cloud is a plus.
As a person you are driven, independent and result oriented. In addition you are a good listener, a real team player and have great communication skills – especially in English. For the right person, this is an excellent opportunity to both gain deep technical knowledge and experience from fun and exciting international enterprise sales and marketing.
You will have a key role in Elastisys journey going forward and also be involved in business development around future offerings. You will report to the CEO.
Location
Preferable Lund or Umeå, for the right candidates other locations can be considered. This position will require travelling.
