Job Description
To strengthen our product development team in Lund, Sweden, we are now looking for highly motivated digital signal processor engineers with experience in system simulation/identification and algorithm implementation in fixed-point / limited resources systems. As a digital signal processor engineer, you will design, develop, integrate, and debug software for products and modules for a Bosch Sensortec device. You will also be involved in preparing documentation for evaluation kit for customers.
Qualifications
A successful candidate must be a team player with strong social skills as well as a cross-functional and customer-oriented mindset. Furthermore, you have a strong drive, a “can do” positive attitude and you take ownership of assignments and are keen to deliver on time. You are motivated to continuously learn as well as sharing your knowledge openly.
Excellent Digital Signal Processing experience with academic background on MSc or PhD level.
Great skills in Matlab, especially in system simulation/identification and floating point to fixed point conversion.
Long experience in C and Python programming.
Experience in algorithm implementation and simulation including noise, drift and varying initial states.
Experience from deploying M/L models on a small embedded system and understanding of how algorithms and models can be optimized without changing the results.is a merit.
Embedded uController expertise in how to optimize memory access, bus utilization, low level register optimization, CPU cache optimization is a merit.
Experience in sensor fusion and Kalman filters.
Experience in navigation algorithms is a merit.
Experience with MEMS sensors is a merit.
Good understanding in agile way of working and verification & validation methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

The role requires expert technical communication with cross-functional teams across design, electrical and firmware engineers. You will be responsible for RF system design, work with partnerships and supply chain to drive new technologies from proof of concept through integration into products for mass production. Excellent technical understanding of consumer electronics and wireless technology is required and based on the very tight collaboration with other disciplines and stakeholders’ strong social skills are essential.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

RF system implementation throughout a product design cycle
Part selection, prototyping, factory bring up and lab bench debug and root cause
Partner with other functions as hardware and supply chain teams to create component and module requirements
Collaborate in a team environment across hardware and software engineering disciplines
Work with antenna and test engineers to ensure the quality of the overall system
Perform multi-radio coexistence mitigation (including RF link budget planning and issue debugging)
Optimize RF conducted and OTA performance by simulation and lab validation
Design and optimize matching networks for RF and Antenna performance
Performance optimization of system level power consumption
Characterize and debug desense issues to meet requirements
Support EMI/EMC trouble shooting and validation
Communicate trade-offs, program concerns and technical direction
Definition of RF calibration methods and parameters
Factory prototype production support (onsite and/or offsite)


Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2+ years’ experience in RF design for consumer electronics
Preferable experience with Wi-Fi, BT, GPS and Cellular RF implementation
Preferable experience with RF front-end and SoC Schematic, Layout Capture and Board Bring Up
Hands-on RF test experience for device characterization and performance validation
Preferable knowledge of RF/wireless system architecture and Wi-Fi/BT/Cellular protocol
Understanding of Digital Communication/Signal Processing
Preferable eexperience with RF circuit and EM simulation software
Radio system global regulatory compliance experience
Self-motivated and flexible to switch context
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Team player with excellent communication skills
