BeammWave is an innovative company developing a disruptive mmWave digital beamforming radio architecture. Our technology is set to redefine how beamforming is implemented in future 5G and wireless devices. We are now looking for a Senior ASIC/FPGA Verification & Test Engineer with proven experience in verification, validation, and lab testing – and with the ability to mentor others – to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards all the way through to high-volume production.


Your Role
As a Senior Verification & Test Engineer at BeammWave, you will:
Lead the verification and validation of complex digital ASIC and FPGA designs.
Define and execute test strategies from block-level simulation to full system validation in the lab.
Drive bring-up, debugging, and characterization of ASIC/FPGA prototypes in lab environments.
Develop automated test frameworks and methodologies to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with design engineers to improve verification coverage, robustness, and overall product quality.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices in verification and test.
Work closely with customers and partners to validate real-world use cases and ensure smooth transition into volume production.



Your Profile
We are looking for a senior professional with strong verification expertise and leadership skills:
M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in ASIC/FPGA verification and validation, including simulation, emulation, and lab testing.
Proven track record of taking multiple ASIC or FPGA projects through verification and into production release.
Strong knowledge of coverage driven verification and EDA tools.
Proven track record in block level verification using UVM.
Skilled in verification planning, task prioritization, and effort estimation.
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.) for prototype bring-up and debugging.
Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
Knowledge of wireless communication systems or RF-based designs is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

We are now looking for a Senior Firmware Architect & Developer with proven experience in embedded systems and firmware for wireless products – someone who can take responsibility for architecture, design, and implementation all the way through to high-volume production.
Your Role
As a Senior Firmware Architect & Developer at BeammWave, you will:
Define and develop the firmware architecture for our mmWave radio solutions.
Design and implement embedded firmware for ASIC/FPGA-based platforms and wireless devices.
Ensure strict real-time requirements are met for performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
Drive performance optimization, robustness, and scalability of the firmware.
Contribute to prototype bring-up, debugging, and system validation together with ASIC, RF, and verification engineers.
Support and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in embedded development.
Collaborate with customers and partners to align firmware features with real-world requirements and ensure successful deployment into volume production.



Your Profile
We are looking for a senior embedded expert with strong technical depth:
M.Sc. or Ph.D in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar.
8+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development for ASIC/FPGA-based systems or wireless communication devices.
Proven track record of taking embedded firmware from architecture and implementation to production-ready products.
Strong skills in C/C++ and embedded programming for real-time systems with demanding latency and timing requirements.
Solid understanding of SoC/ASIC platforms, FPGA-based systems, and low-level drivers.
Experience with debugging tools, lab validation, and system bring-up.
Knowledge of communication systems in general, and 5G in particular, is highly advantageous.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

You will join the Lund design team, that is responsible for designing RFIC/MMIC Integrated Circuits that will be used in 5G NR mmW BeammWave's Patented Transceiver technology mainly for User Equipment (UE). The blocks within such a RFIC/MMIC include, but not limited to, LNA, MIXER, RFVGA, IFVGA, PLL, VCO, divider, multiplier, filter, and PA:s as well as antenna design. The design processes to be used are RF CMOS. You will be involved in one or several phases like architecture design, circuit design, simulation, layout, and verification. The RFIC used in 5G NR requires to meet excellent performance requirements, therefore you need to have an overview of system requirement and design trade off. You should be good at teamwork, and you should also be able to work effectively with minimum supervision in a team. Occasionally you needs to coach more junior team members.

PhD, MS or Bachelor degree
2 years experience in RFIC design, preferably in wireless transceivers
Hands on experience and in depth knowledge of CMOS/BiCMOS design
Knowledge of wireless transceiver architecture and system level plan
