Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated R&D engineer to join our team and help in developing our materials in the GaN/AlGaN material system. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of processes and characterization of GaN materials for power electronics and lead the collaboration with research teams at Lund University and in EU projects.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute process flows for creating GaN FinFETs, including basic materials characterization techniques
· Analyze and interpret electrical characterization results and optimizing the device design and fabrication process
· Performing TCAD simulations to have better understanding of the developed GaN FinFET physics
· Collaborate with the team to optimize material and processing development efforts
· Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the field of GaN power electronics materials and technologies
· Continuously learn and grow by exploring new ideas and approaches to advance the technology and improve the characterization methods
Qualifications:
· Ph.D. in the field of physics, nanoelectronics, material science, or nanotechnology, or another related field
· Strong knowledge on semiconductor device physics and transistor design, modeling and characterization
· Knowledge in device physics for power electronics is highly merited
· Working experience in clean room is highly recommended.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and communication skills
· Hands-on, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset and embrace team work
