???? ???? Position: Cook – Indian Cuisine Specialist
Location: Lund, Sweden
Start Date: Immediate, upon selection of the right candidate
Permit Requirement: Valid Schengen visa/permit is mandatory or highly preferred.
???? What We're Looking For:
We are in search of a culinary professional with deep expertise in Indian cuisine, particularly:
Authentic South Indian dishes: Dosa, Idly, Vadai, Parotta, Biryani, Sambar, Chutneys, etc.
North Indian dishes: Curries, Tandoori items, Rotis/Naan, and more
Knowledge of other regional Indian cuisines (Goan, Bengali, Gujarati, etc.) will be a strong advantage
? Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience in Indian kitchens, preferably in reputable restaurants or hotels
Trained in traditional Indian cooking methods, with attention to authentic flavour, texture, and presentation
Familiar with European hygiene standards and kitchen operations (HACCP knowledge is a plus)
Ability to manage kitchen tasks independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills; able to work in a multilingual and multicultural work environment
Highly professional, punctual, courteous, and customer-service oriented
Flexible and adaptable to the pace and expectations of a modern European kitchen
???? Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present Indian dishes to high standards of quality and consistency
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene
Participate in menu development, food costing, and inventory planning
Maintain quality control for ingredients, portioning, and taste
Uphold the brand's reputation by delivering an excellent culinary experience to all guests
