* Providing on-site support for production functional product testing and reviewing test data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

We are looking for a talented individual for a simulation engineering role focused on thermals within the R&D team to design, analyze and optimize thermal management solutions for electronics components and systems. The role requires deep knowledge of thermal behavior in PCBs, devices, electronic packaging, with an emphasis on system-level behavior.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Pre-design phase:
Perform thermal analysis of PCB design, collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize layout, review design work, and provide design guidelines
Design and optimize thermal solutions for electronic systems, including heatsinks, fans, vapor chambers, etc
Air Flow analysis
Conduct studies for next-generation cooling strategies

Post design phase:
Verification of results
Develop thermal testing protocols
Implement measurements and analyze results
Thermal test design in climate chamber
Apply root-cause investigations of thermal failures

Experience in at least 3 of the above areas is a requirement.
Typical candidate background:
Minimum BS with 8+ years/MS with 5+ years in thermal analysis or similar other relevant fields
Proficiency in thermal modeling and simulation software, experience with Ansys IcePak and Fluent.

This position is for the Synopsys IT-Europe team, involves web development and support of Windows for Sweden and Denmark.
The scope of this position involves web development of various IT web services, day to day support of Windows, engineering/R&D computing environment located in Sweden, procurement work, as well as working with the IT group supporting the European region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Building applications using Internet and Windows development tools
Researching, tracking, and understanding new web technologies in order to provide technical leadership in developing service applications
Analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and internet-related systems
Providing written design documents, test plans, and test results
Manages, develops, integrates, and implements related application components including front-end development, server- side development and database integration
Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications
Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.



Requirements
BS or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
Experience in a variety of internal web-based applications, including but not limited to JavaScript, NodeJS/FeathersJS, React/Semantic UI, MongoDB, Microsoft VS
Superb written, inter-personal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and be responsive to a rapidly changing environment
Able to work well in a team environment and be customer focused

Managing Consultant
Synopsys is looking for a full-time Managing Consultant based in Sweden (Stockholm or Lund) to further the expansion of our security consulting practice in the Nordics.

This is a position that requires you have a unique blend of business development, account management, and deep technical knowledge. As Synopsys engages with clients to propose and deliver our software security services and products, you will have direct responsibility for developing strong and lasting relationships with clients. You will also be effectively identifying and selling follow-on work to clients, assisting sales in selling new business to clients, ensuring contracts are properly managed and serving as an effective escalation point for client issues and problems on engagements.

Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred.

Preferred Experience
Solid experience with software development or software application security
Thorough knowledge of SDLC
Sufficient application security knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our services to the client and translate that to revenue
Understanding of software development processes, technologies, architectures, and practices, and software risk management
Proven ability to deliver solution strategies and implementations to clients
Superior and highly effective client interface skills
Demonstrated understanding and ability to manage Time & Material and Fix-Priced engagements
Experience running small consulting/delivery teams and project execution
Ability to create presentations, proposals, and State of Work (SOW)
Written communication skills include: formal documentation, statements of work, proposals, sources sought and request for information responses, white papers, and case studies
Expected to manage client profitability and revenue growth. Managed Revenue of $1+ million annually
Client billability for this position will be at approximately 20-40%
Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
