Scope of the assignment
The candidate will report to Head of Quality & Compliance Division but support the sub-projects to work with Quality Control activities such as:•Witness tests, controls and inspections carried out on the electrical installation.•Perform reviews throughout the design and installation workflow.•Interpret ratings from the technical / control regulations for electrical installations of the plant.•Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site•Evaluate suppliers' scope of control to check if these are sufficient for requirements or if additional checks are needed.•Check conformity with the Project Quality Plan, obtain relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.•Perform FAT & SAT testing.•Perform inspection of installed electrical equipment e.g. Electrical- and I&C cabinets, junctions’ boxes and field installation.•Support with elaboration of rules and guidelines for quality work within the electrical field to be applied within the project.
Required education background and professional experience
Bachelor in relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent and relevant work experience, alternatively proven experience from similar tasks combined with relevant work experience.At least 6-8 years of work experience in the field of Quality Control in the electrical domain.Proficient knowledge in electrical legislation, directives and standards.Your focus is on customer needs and satisfaction and you monitor and maintain a high level of quality and productivity in your deliveries. ESS is now looking for an Instrument & Control (I&C) Technician for the Radiation Protection (RP) group as part of the Environment, Safety, Health & Security (ESH&Q) unit.

At ESS the Radiation Protection group consists of radiation protection experts, the operational radiation protection team and radiation protection services including radioactive waste management. The radiation protection services team has as one of its responsibilities, the Radiological and Environmental Monitoring System (REMS).

Job description

As part of the RP group, you main task will be maintenance of the Radiological and Environmental Monitoring System (REMS). In addition to this, you will also support the operational RP group by performing surveys and interventions.

As an I&C Technician, you will:


• Use the ESS maintenance management tool (EAM), establish preventative maintenance schedules for all new equipment along with maintenance & operations documentation and user guides.
• Manage the maintenance & operations of existing systems, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on them, suggesting improvements and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
• Make necessary risk assessments for the maintenance tasks.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new monitoring systems.
• Assist the operational radiation protection team with surveys and interventions.

Qualifications & Competencies

You have a well-developed ability to listen, consult others and to communicate proactively with a high level of integrity.


• Higher technical diploma in one of the following fields; instrumentation, control systems, electro-mechanical or electro-technical engineering and maintenance.
• Proven experience in maintenance and operations, in one of the previous fields, with a fundamental understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or similar tools.
• Knowledge of radiation protection, radiation monitoring instrumentation and use of radioactive sources would be an advantage
• Knowledge of installation and commissioning or project environments would be an asset.

Tetra Pak Processing Production Center Lund (PPCL) bygger och testar nyckelkomponenter och moduler för livsmedelsindustrin. Detta sker i 15 fabriker runt om i världen. Vi prioriterar säkerheten först och jobbar hela tiden med ständiga förbättringar inom hela verksamheten i enlighet med WCM – World Class Management.
Vi söker nu en testare, även benämnd som slutprovare, som ska vara ansvarig för testning av våra nyckelkomponenter som Homogenisatorer och seperatorer.

What you will do
Utföra högspänningstester på maskiner
Säkerställa att en säker in- och urkoppling av maskiner efterlevs
Programmera testutrustningen för specifika maskiner
Planering av dagliga och veckovisa aktiviteter som testunderhåll samt stöttning till tekniksidan och löpande avstämning med gruppledare kring status
Leda och fördela arbetet för de personer som jobbar inom testhallen HP
Övervaka och dokumentera testförloppet utifrån framtagen mall och orderunika specifikationer, för att vid leverans säkerställa att maskinen uppfyller uppsatta krav så som funktion, montage, flöde, tryck mm.
Verka för att följa och se till att uppdatera framtagna rutiner och arbetssätt inom områden som säkerhet, kvalité och maskinunika specifikationer
Verka för att tester och resurser följs och utnyttjas effektivt, samt att fel eller förluster lyfts och loggas
Säkerställa att arbetet utförs i en säker arbetsmiljö och att de säkerhetsrutiner som finns efterlevs i det dagliga arbetet. Arbetet ska avbrytas om säkerhetsrisker eller kvalitétsavvikelser förekommer, detta skall göras i samråd med ansvarig chef eller skyddsombud.
Involverad i det förbättringsarbete som hela tiden pågår i verksamheten

När du inte testar så kommer du att supporta andra delar av verksamheten med bl.a.: montagearbete, kabeldragning andra typer av tester.

A MSc degree in a technical field or the equivalent level of education
Several years’ experience from verification using System Verilog and UVM.
