An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented senior trademark lawyer to join our Trademark team within Tetra Pak Legal Affairs. Tetra Pak’s Legal Affairs IPR function is headed up by the Vice President Legal Affairs IPR and consists of 20 world class IP professionals of all disciplines. The function advises the entire Tetra Pak Group in all matters relating to intellectual property rights.
The position will be based in Lund, Sweden and will report to the Director Trademark, Tetra Pak.
What you will do
Prosecute trademark applications and support building a strong trademark and domain name portfolio
Protect our trademark portfolio from infringement and misuse by advising on and overseeing oppositions, cancellations, and other defensive actions
Provide legal advice and strategic support on trademark and domain name related matters to our global stakeholders
Develop and support continuous improvement of related policies, processes, template agreements, notices, checklists, and other tools
Drive activities and training to increase trademark awareness to colleagues, customers, and others
Drive activities to prevent external and internal incorrect trademark use and infringement
Draft and negotiate trademark dispute settlement agreements
Handle domain name matters: advise on registration, third-party requests, and dispute resolution

Who you are
You are an attorney at law with a minimum of 8 years of experience working for a leading law firm and/or in-house in a multinational business of comparable size.
Extensive experience in strategic trademark prosecution and enforcement, litigation experience and a sound knowledge of marketing and competition law are prerequisites.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
You are a driven, resourceful, and quick self-starter. You are a strategic thinker who can apply your intellect and creativity in providing sound risk assessments and innovative legal solutions. You are practical, persuasive, and a team-player with the ability to collaborate at all levels and across divisions, geographies, and cultures.
