As Vice President & General Manager of Northern Europe, you will primarily be engaging a broad spectrum of associates to foster and develop a vibrant workforce to accomplish some of Cerner’s most important work. You will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting strategic partnerships at senior Regional and National levels. The role will focus on building on our existing trusted client partnerships across the region to increase our associate engagement therefore client satisfaction. We are looking for an executive with high levels of energy, inspiration, collaboration, and proven results in turning vision into results. To do this you will need to create alliances across teams and industry, adapt to market trends, and engage a vision for integrated care and health network management.
You will coach and manage a diverse team of highly experienced General Managers as well as play a central and crucial role in some of Cerner’s most aspirational projects and new markets. This is a key leadership role within Cerner International and rightly maintains a seat on International Cabinet. You will also develop and maintain working relationships with other Cerner executives in relevant lines of business that serve or may serve the region and your clients. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
14+ years’ total combined higher education and experience in healthcare, software services or technology sales, implementation, or support
Experience in translating sophisticated technical approaches to consumable messages that drive client action
At least 7 years of people management experience
Experience building relationships with Executive Board members, Local Authority officers and CXOs
Relevant experience working with members of executive leadership teams at the individual client as well as Regional and National levels
Proven experience leading teams and deriving engagement from them.
Relevant experience with Cerner Millennium



Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
5+ years in healthcare or social care
5+ years in combined operations and sales management
Previous responsibility managing partner programs
Experience working with Integration Care/ Population Health Management systems and executing strategy

As a Lead Engagement Owner, you will play a lead role within the Sweden Consulting program Engagement Management team, collaborating closely with Consultants, Cerner and Client leadership, and other stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of Millennium applications. You will own and manage the planning and execution of all tasks associated with project delivery within the context of the overall team, including leading and coaching the team to success, and the activities to make these objectives successful. As a member of the Consulting leadership team, the ability to build and maintain relationships at multiple levels, inspiring confidence in the team’s delivery, is critical.


The work requires significant collaboration and facilitation skills, as these events are complex and require the involvement and engagement of multiple subject matter experts across technical and clinical spectrums. This work also requires the ability to work with multiple levels of SMEs and leadership, both internally and client-facing. It is also highly rewarding in this regard, as there are clear measures of success, client satisfaction, and cross-team cooperation.
Examples of these activities include, but are not limited to, project plan management, deliverable and financial status reporting with the client and internal teams, coordinating activities and ownership with client counterparts, advising the client on expectations in a consultative role, establishing and managing to success metrics (KPIs) with various SMEs, and managing communication.
