What does an Application Consultant do at Consafe Logistics?

Working closely with both customers and our internal team, Application Consultants are building the bridge between our customers´ needs and our solutions. They identify customer challenges and advise which Astro WMS® functionalities would serve them best, helping them increase their efficiency with our software. As an Application Consultant, you are the “voice” of customers towards your team consisting of developers, supporting consultants, system architects, and project managers, ensuring that the application solution we deliver will bring the best possible value to the customer.

How would your daily work look like?

You will work with other application consultants, developers and project managers in different teams depending on the size of the projects. You maintain close contact with our customers and continuously educate them on our software capabilities. You will collaborate with customers and your team members to define strategies and initiate projects.

Your key tasks will involve:
- Consultancy on how Astro WMS® can create the most optimal warehouse processes Leading and participating in workshops with customers
- Participating in project go-lives on site together with the rest of the project team
- Holding training sessions with Astro WMS® users
- Work with technical preparation such as configurating, setting parameters as well as testing and verify the system according to the customer requirements.

- If you have experience in working with supply chain, logistics and/or warehouse management systems, as well as other systems, like ERP or similar
- Or you have worked with a warehouse management system on a site, as a business application consultant, or similar
- Or if you have a junior profile with an educational background in logistics and supply chain management, e.g., MSc Mechanical Engineering, MSc Information Systems, MSc Industrial Engineering and Management, or other relevant education.

About the role

As application consultant you will be representing the company towards our customers on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the Astro WMS® training of our customers as well as initiating projects and set a strategy in collaboration with the customers and the rest of the team.

You will work as an advisor towards our customers, helping them improving efficiency with Astro WMS®. You are structured and enjoy working close to the customer, always with a solution-oriented mindset. Delivering high quality in your work is important to you. Moreover, you would describe yourself as an ambitious person with a positive attitude that enjoys project-based work.

Your background and experience

In the role as application consultant we value experience from working with supply chain, logistics and/or warehouse management systems in some way. Some of our application consultants have gained the right experience from working with a WMS on a warehouse site. Others have an educational background within logistics and Supply Chain Management for example MSc Mechanical Engineering, MSc Information Systems or MSc Industrial Engineering and Management or other relevant education. The role as application consultant requires a very good general IT knowledge and fluent skills in English.

Consafe Logistics will appoint a Financial Controller to the head office in Lund. You will be part of the Group's central finance & accounting function and actively work with managers and project managers in the line organizations. The focus will initially be to finetune and further develop our internal financial applications to support state of the art financial follow up. You will report directly to the Accounting manager.

Main tasks:

• Review current system setup in relation to the financial parts of project management
• Establish best practice way of working in relation to the group common ERP system IFS
• Conduct training sessions with regards to best practices in relation it IFS
• Be a member of and a driving party in various forums within the Swedish operations
• Be a sounding board towards employees at different levels of the organization
• Other relevant tasks within the financial organization

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a specialist with several years of experience in technology-oriented companies with an emphasis on project operations. You are on a senior level within accounting and are used to larger business and reporting systems and have in-depth knowledge of IFS. Experience of other BI tools are also considered very valuable.

Your personality is a success factor. You are a service-oriented and responsible person who is passionate about your work. Furthermore, you have a high analytical ability and a structured approach. You are solution-oriented and driven by changing and improving. You are pedagogical, easy to communicate across borders and have a great interest and good understanding of the business and can translate business needs to system requirements.
