About the Role
The overall mission for Global Sourcing Office is to secure development of the sourcing and procurement people, processes and tools to capture the value in our supply chains. The team support in develop strategy, best practice and policy projects that drives Alfa Laval sourcing towards world class. You combine the internal work with external input by monitoring the environment for new trends and technology from different sources.
You will act as project manager and/or project member for sourcing projects or related projects/initiatives. You will have continuous focus on closing the gaps in our journey to improve sourcing office support to Global Sourcing and other organizations
This entails leading maintenance and development of the process section for Global Sourcing. You will drive activities within compliance requirement and it´s communication and be responsible for all process improvement campaigns in sourcing related matters, it´s communication, and distribution internally and externally.
An import part of the job is also to measures and analyze the process effectiveness. You will also define training needs and act as expert these trainings within sourcing. Define needs for supporting systems and initiates changes and support system roll-out for sourcing tools.
What You Know:
* Project management or Business analysis
* Sourcing and procurement skill beneficial
* At least 5 years' experience as Project Engineer/Technical Project Manager/Business analyst in Mult-international industry
* Sourcing and procurement skill is beneficial
* Hands on experience using advanced continuous improvement methods SAFe agile and Prince 2 or similar
* Competent in Lean Six Sigma are beneficial but not a must
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
What will you do
* Be a member of Sourcing Office withing Global Sourcing
* Handle Medium/high complexity activities within Sourcing Business intelligence and IT areas
* Lead and manage a team to ensure project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Facilitate lean daily management, promote initiatives to create Lean culture
* Develop and implement plans, set goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
* Facilitate meetings and follow up on issues
* Maintain clear communication with team members, stakeholders, and other departments. Encourage input and contributions from all team members
* Trouble shooting
* Make informed decisions, solve problems as they arise, and take responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions
* Be able to roll-out solution to a sourcing organization containing 500+ employees and perform targeted trainings
Location: Strong preference for candidates based in Lund, Sweden or Söborg or Kolding Denmark
