The Environment & Supply Chain Sustainability team consists of 13 talented individuals, organized within Operations. We drive the environmental strategy for the entire company and the full sustainability agenda linked to our supply chain.
Your impact:
As the Environmental Management System Coordinator at Axis Communications, you will be responsible for ensuring our environmental management system is effective, compliant, up-to-date, and efficiently managed. In your role, you will collaborate with colleagues across the company - from R&D and Facilities to Sourcing and Sales as well as with external parties.
Your mission:
* Improve system: Manage and improve Axis environmental management system.
* Assess impact: Assess environmental aspects and risks.
* Communicate: Educate and inspire the organization regarding the environmental management system.
* Evaluate performance: Perform internal environmental management system audits and compliance audits and coordinate non-conformities and corrective actions.
* Coordinate compliance: Coordinate activities to ensure compliance with new environmental regulations and standards and coordinate external environmental audits by certification bodies or customers.
Your desired profile:
* University degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
* 4 years of experience in managing an ISO 14001 certified environmental management system, including establishing processes and procedures, assessing environmental aspects and performing environmental management system audits.
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
* Strong self-motivation and you set and achieve tough personal goals.
* Excellent cooperation skills and you contribute to a positive and open working climate across organizational borders.
* Skilled in driving change management
* Confident in educating employees.
* Ability to visualize and bring structure to abstract processes.
* Structured and meticulous in managing environmental data and processes.
* Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in Swedish is desirable to effectively assimilate Swedish legislation and communicate with local authorities.
