Job Summary
Within Sustainability Climate & Nature, we are working to realize our ambition through the implementation of Tetra Pak Approach to Nature. This approach was developed based on the results of the assessment of our impacts and dependencies on nature and contains quantitative targets and a clear set of actions to reduce our negative impacts and increase our positive impacts on nature. The focus of the approach is on nature, in particular on biodiversity and water, but it is closely linked with our ambition on climate, circularity, social sustainability and food systems. We are now looking for a Nature Manager (Upstream Value Chain) who will lead and coordinate the implementation of Tetra Pak’s nature-related targets and initiatives with suppliers. The Nature Project Lead will report to the Director Nature.
This is a permanent position based in Lund (Sweden) or Modena (Italy). Other locations will be considered in case of profile match.
What you will do
Provide expert advice for the deployment of nature-related targets and actions in Tetra Pak’s supply chain.
Monitor progress on the deployment of nature targets and actions.
Monitor Tetra Pak supply chain nature impacts and risks and supplier performance in addressing these.
Review policies and procedures related to nature-impacts in the supply chain.
Contribute to the development of environmental due diligence in the supply chain
Lead targeted supplier engagement related to nature topics
Conduct capacity development to internal stakeholders and suppliers on nature-related issues.
Contribute to ESG Reporting and communications related to supply chain and sustainable sourcing.
Lead engagement with external stakeholders/initiatives related to Tetra Pak supply chain (e.g. sustainability certification initiatives).

We believe you have
Master’s degree in biology, ecology, forestry, environmental science or similar
At least 5 years of experience working on sustainable production or sourcing of forestry, agricultural and/or mining-related commodities.
Deep understanding of biodiversity-related issues in the production of forestry-, agricultural and/or mining-related commodities.
Experience and/or knowledge of sustainability and certification standards.
Good knowledge of legal requirements related to sustainable sourcing and due diligence.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in English.

Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and impactful business leader to be our Sustainability Director North Europe and East Europe, reporting directly to the global Vice President Sustainability Operations. The Sustainability Director will manage a local team and will implement all sustainability priorities in the assigned countries as per the Tetra Pak Strategy 2030 with focus on collection and recycling. The position will be responsible for the market plan and execution including recycling investments, partnerships and value chain activities to secure a step-up in carton collection and recycling.
The preferred location for this position is Lund, Sweden.


What you will do
Manage and lead a Sustainability team based in local countries
Lead the development of market sustainability plans including yearly targets/budgets
Implement sustainability projects in line with Strategy 2030 priorities in assigned countries with focus on a collection and recycling step-up
Responsible for local collection and recycling value chain investments, partnerships, and projects including business cases, resource planning and negotiations
Lead external engagements and ensure adequate representation in industry associations
Secure compliance with sustainability regulations/targets as applicable
Collaborate with Corporate Affairs and Communications to achieve business success


We believe you have
Full Time Graduation/Post Graduation in Environmental Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent
Extensive experience in Sustainability and/or Recycling area with proven performance and strong track record
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
Demonstrated performance in business development
Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and engagement
A true passion and deep understanding of sustainability
You have a true interest and drive for the areas in scope as well as excellent communication skills and strong people leadership capabilities. You possess the ability to both have the strategic view as well as working operationally with the team. Managing stakeholders in a professional way comes natural to you and you collaborate effectively with a diverse range of business and industry partners.
