Job Summary
We are looking for a Package Development Engineer who will together with a scrum team drive the development of tomorrows sustainable packages. The position is within the Primary and Secondary Package team, based in Lund.
We work in cross-functional, agile teams within D&T Materials & Package, developing new packages, packaging material and openings & closures. As a package development engineer you are responsible as the technical competence for primary and secondary package within programmes.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden. Travel occurs as part of the job but is limited.
What you will do
As our Package Development Engineer, you will:
Act as team member in SCRUM Teams, supporting projects with technical package competence
Support the definition of technical requirements within the package area
Coordinate and perform package design and package verification and validation
Recommend and develop changes in procedures and test methods
Share competence and best practices regarding package
Support in scouting of new technology and technical know-how activities
Analyze package performance and functionality
Participate in root case investigations and risk assessments
Write test specifications, analyze and document results using reports

We believe you have
Master’s degree within Mechanical-, Design- Materials or Chemical engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the package area
Well acquainted and self-sufficient in requirement management procedure, physical testing and problem solving
Able to provide full engineering support with independent responsibility for the completion of assignments related to package design, package verification & validation, machine material interaction
Experience of working in SCRUM-teams and agile methods
Fluent in English, written as well as spoken
A broad internal network

Beskrivning
På uppdrag av kund söker vi en erfaren Technical Project Manager med specialistkunskap inom Equipment Structuring enligt ISO 81346.

Du kommer att leda och koordinera aktiviteter för att bygga standardiserade tillgångsstrukturer, med fokus på att bryta ner maskinstrukturer i funktionella enheter enligt ISO 81346-standarden.

Arbetsuppgifter
I ditt arbete kommer du att:

- Driva och samordna arbetet med att utveckla och implementera strukturerade tillgångsmodeller enligt ISO 81346.
- Samla in krav och bryta ner maskinstrukturer till funktionella och utrustningshierarkier.
- Leda workshops med olika intressenter, inklusive utrustningsägare och fabrikspersonal, för att identifiera och fastställa maskinstrukturer.
- Säkerställa att strukturerna följer både tekniska och operativa krav samt branschens bästa praxis.

Kvalifikationer
För denna tjänst krävs:

- ISO 81346: Gedigen kunskap om ISO 81346-standarden och praktisk erfarenhet av att tillämpa den inom tillverkning.
- Workshopsledning: Dokumenterad erfarenhet av att organisera och leda workshops med intressenter, inklusive att samla in krav och nå konsensus om maskinstrukturdesign.
- Teknisk bakgrund inom tillverkning: Erfarenhet av maskinkonstruktion, drift och underhåll, vilket underlättar välgrundade beslut om strukturer och kategorisering av utrustning.
- Kommunikationsförmåga: Hög nivå av kommunikationsförmåga och förmåga att effektivt interagera med personer på olika roller och nivåer.

Meriterande

- Erfarenhet från praktiskt ingenjörsarbete och att arbeta i tillverkande miljöer.
- Förmåga att leda och samordna tekniska projekt i samverkan med olika avdelningar och funktioner.

Drive development of material solutions in early development as well as in product development activities close to market
Be part of a cross-functional Scrum Team and work closely with labs, converting factories and specialists

Educational background with a master of Science in Chemical Engineering related to materials
Good experience in package material analysis and at least 3 years of working experience within material or packaging development

Som teknisk projektledare på Head Energy får du viktig roll för att driva samhället framåt, både i energiutvecklingen och industrins gröna omställning!

Du kommer få möjligheten att leda högteknologiska utvecklingsprojekt. Projekten ligger i våra affärsområden Energi, Industri/Produktutveckling och Process. Detta innebär att du som Projektledare kommer ha en central roll och leda team bestående av personer inom el/elektronik, mjukvara/automation, mekanik, test, produktion etc.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to join the Lamination & Web Handling team. We want you to support our agile teams developing the production equipment and solutions for our future packaging materials. Sustainability, quality and productivity are key driving forces in everything we do.
This role will belong to D&T IBE (Development & Technology Industrial Base Engineering) which is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
We own solutions related to Lamination, Extrusion and Coating equipment to ensure world class performance of the equipment in our production facilities.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires occasional travelling.
What you will do
In this role, the main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain innovative solutions related to the equipment and process used to produce our packaging materials. You will be involved in development projects, problem solving activities as well as supporting our converting factories. The job is done in an agile team where you give and get support to/from your peers. As this is a senior role, ownership and drive of activities will be expected.

We believe you have
We think you have an engineering degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field (packaging material converting or similar material processing). Understanding of mechanics is an advantage. As you will work in an international environment, it is important that you have ability to communicate well using English language, both written and orally.

Your main responsibilities, but not limited to, will be in one of our aseptic tube filled solutions targeting mainly small and medium large customers world wide.

What you will do
As our new Mechanical Designer you will be working with the product development of our filling machine equipment, adding new functionality, improving existing solutions or completely new systems. You will work in a mechatronic environment and with engineers that are among the best in the world in respective areas. You will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges in a creative work environment to develop Tetra Pak´s future Packaging Systems.
You will focus on:
Design of components and virtual simulations in Creo and other relevant softwares, meeting agreed requirements
Interact, drive and cooperate with relevant external partners and suppliers in the area of mechanical design
Secure design quality
Involvement in tests in filling machines and test rigs
Lead and participate in development activities throughout the Tetra Pak organization

We believe you have
You have some years of experience from working with mechanical design, preferably also in development activities
You have proven ability to propose and describe new advanced designs
You have a good understanding in simulations/virtual development and manufacturing techniques
A bachelor’s degree or higher education within Mechanical Engineering or equivalent will be a plus
Experience in filling machines and robust design methodology will be a plus
Knowledge in Creo will be a plus
You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing

Arbetsuppgifter

I rollen som teknisk projektledare kommer har du en central roll i projekt hos våra kunder.
Du kommer att arbeta med projekt och uppdrag av olika karaktär, vilket styrs av kundens behov och din personliga ambition, din kompetens och utvecklingsplan.
Arbetsuppgifterna är varierande med uppgifter som projekt och arbetsplanering, vara kontaktytan mot underleverantörer, produktion och slutkund, ansvara för budget och tidplan. Ditt projektteam kan variera, men kommer oftast bestå av ingenjörer från olika discipliner så som el/elektronik, mjukvara/automation, mekanik etc, vilket gör att du bör ha en bra teknisk förståelse och kunskap. Fokus ligger på att vara en pådrivare och lagspelare med positiv attityd som hela tiden har fokus på tid, teknik och kostnad.


Utbildning och erfarenhet Civil-/Högskoleingenjör inom teknik

Development and Lifecycle management of Finishing solutions
Represent the area in different forums externally and internally

We believe you have
To be successful in this position, experience from working in the area of mechanical design and a Master’s degree in Engineering will be a requirement. Experience from automated production and testing is seen as an advantage. It’s an advantage if you have experience from working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment or similar process knowledge.
You have a strong drive for results, are passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities. Since the position involves much collaboration with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be flexible with a strong ability to adjust. To communicate with people on all levels, within and outside the organization, comes natural to you, and you can work both independently and in groups and different projects. Analytical reasoning, a structured and flexible way of working is important. Experience from working in a scrum team is also seen as a merit.
A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Job Summary

What you will do
As our new Development Engineer – Inline Systems, you will be part of a team with Inline Systems, e.g., print inspection, surface inspection and gauging/applying grammage measurement – with the purpose to improve quality of Tetra Pak packaging products. Develop systems and equipment for defect analysis using different process measuring systems, camera-based picture control systems and similar.

Improve defect classification using different technologies within AI or similar.

We believe you have
University degree within Engineering, Data Science, Vision Technology or equivalent.
Experience from maintaining products in the field of Vision Technology, Cameras, Image Analysis or Machine learning.
Basic knowledge in High level programming (e.g. Python, etc.)
Been working in the field with testing and validating of new equipment.
It is considered a merit if you have experience from scrum/agile working methods, statistics and/or mathematics.

What you will do
By offering optimised solutions on factory level we enable our customers to reduce their environmental footprint while also reducing their utility costs. The Center of Expertise is responsible for the full factory understanding with regards to heat recovery and energy balance as well as water management and CIP optimisation.
In this role you will be involved in new opportunities related to Factory wide sustainable design. You will support pre-projects and other stakeholders with calculations. In this role you need to ensure you obtain the necessary data and understand the customer needs. Then you need to analyse the data and identify different alternatives that will help our customers reduce their environmental footprint.
Your responsibilities include doing calculations such as pinch analysis, Sankey diagrams and energy/mass balance calculations while handling a lot of uncertainties.
Since this is a new team, you will be part in forming the team and establishing the way of working.
You will work closely with the colleagues in the Project Organisation, particularly in the pre-project phase, but you will also interact with other stakeholders such as market operations and Services.
Responsibilities:
Support to pre-projects and other stakeholders with the necessary calculations in order to offer a sustainable plant design solution
For each new opportunity analyse the data available and identify different alternatives for a sustainable plant design
Do calculations on plant level, including heat recovery/ energy balance, sankey diagrams and pinch analysis based on the available data and needs of the customer
Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure you obtain the necessary data and understand the customer needs
Provide input and ideas on how to improve our offer on energy optimisation, water recovery and CIP optimisation on plant level

Job Summary
The aim of this role is to lead a coordinated implementation and reporting of the yearly market deployment strategies based on the BU’s 3YP. Lead the analysis of Services’ portfolio’s lifecycle management for all categories, triggering needed actions. Secure that all identified activities are managed according to the SLM process and tools. Translate global into locally relevant value propositions. Coordinate and lead the communication process of the annual pricing cycle. Lead capability build up for our operational marketing teams and customers in collaboration with our Communications teams.
This position is located preferably in Lund, Sweden or UK but flexible within EMEA. This is a temporary position for one year.
What you will do
Lead the development, implementation and reporting of one-year operational plan based on 3-year plan developed by BU together with the Services sales team and Services Solutions teams.
Manage the region’s NPI (new product introductions) using SLM process and tools.
Opportunity management funnel & regular performance review plus the use of methodologies such as hotspots, customer journey etc. to determine desired positioning, current gaps and market needs to file a CSN for new product development or local adaptation.
Lead the approval process and deployment of local adaptation using SLM process.
Secure availability of local global value proposition through customer value calculations and propositions and hand off to sales team.
Work with BI&A team to assimilate competitor information and enrich pricing, CSN and value propositions.
Collaborate with packaging & processing to ensure service opportunity is captured and included as soon as an NPI is identified through smart sales, NPI dashboard, etc.
Lead the coordination of the market pricing cycles with Services Director, based on sales management inputs, and price simulation carried out by the sales support specialist. Prepare the communication for the pricing once it is confirmed by services director
Cascade the services solutions portfolio roadmap to front office teams and where relevant, include packaging solutions portfolio. Be responsible for promoting the end-to-end mindset. Decide the timing and content of internal and external webinars. Have a clear hand off to communication teams for coordination with agencies and actual hosting of events.

We believe you have

3-5 years of experience in Commercial or Technical field (Marketing & Project Experience is a plus e.g. regarding new product implementations, involved in tasks like time plan preparation and similar)

About the role:

The ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we now need to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on MAGIC - our Magnetism single-crystal diffractometer.

Like all of our instruments, MAGIC is truly unique. The MAGIC instrument is a polarized time-of-flight diffractometer delivered through a collaboration between the Laboratoire Léon Brillouin (LLB) in France, Forschungszentrum Julich (FZJ) in Germany, the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Switzerland, and ESS.

As LLB is the lead institute in the collaboration, you will have frequent interactions with the instrument Lead Engineer and Lead Scientist located in France. This role will involve frequent travel to LLB to take part weekly udpates and to report on ongoing activities.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Mechanical Design Engineer for the MAGIC instrument. This role exists within the Instrument Engineering section of the Neutron Scattering Systems Technical Projects Group. To join the MAGIC team of scientists and engineers we need someone who can deliver high-quality mechanical design (modeling and drawings), as well as follow manufacturing, support with integration, collaborate and participate in installation activities with the installation team. This position is aimed at a mechanical design engineer with experience in the design of components and assemblies for vacuum, high precision alignment, and special materials.

This is a full-time, fixed-position for a period of 3 years and you will be based at the ESS facility in Lund Sweden.

About you:

To thrive with us in the Neutron Scattering Systems Technical Projects Group you need to be driven, responsive and good at spotting both problems and opportunities. You need to be a highly motivated person who isn’t afraid to get stuck in!

First and foremost, we need someone who is suitably qualified and experienced. Ideally, you will have a higher technical or University degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline. You need to show us that you have excellent knowledge of CAD software and that you are technically competent in both mechanical 2D drawings and 3D modelling - preferably using CATIA. SOLIDWORKS experience would be a great benefit.

Our ideal candidate will bring prior experience in manufacturing processes and workshop environments. We need someone who can design mechanical components which fulfilling specific needs for vacuum systems and/or mechanisms in radiation environments.

We are building ESS from the ground up, so we need someone who is comfortable not only following procedures, but also creating them. About the role:

The ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we now need to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on our Cold Chopper Spectrometer instrument (CSPEC).

Like all of our instruments, CSPEC is truly unique. CSPEC is a neutron time-of-flight instrument which will be used in a wide variety of scientific applications, including life sciences, functional materials and chemistry. It is being developed and constructed by a French/German consortium.

As our next Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing detailed designs of the mechanical constructions for CSPEC as well as contributing to its integration into the complete instrument and the on-site infrastructure at the ESS campus in Lund. This means that you will not only be designing machine parts and components in 2D and 3D and performing mechanical calculations, but you will also follow through the manufacturing, construction, assembly and installation phases of the instrument lifecycle.

About you:

Package development is a key area within Tetra Pak. The European Spallation Source is hiring motivated and inspiring people from across the globe to design, construct and operate the world’s most powerful neutron source. We are now looking to appoint a Chopper Development Engineer for the Neutron Scattering Systems (NSS) division. 

The NSS Division is responsible for construction and commissioning of the 15 neutron beam instruments for the ESS. The division provides the underlying technology and supervision required for the design, construction, installation and maintenance of neutron instruments at the ESS. Specifically, the Neutron Chopper Group, where the vacant role is placed, develops in-house and in collaboration with European partners state-of-the-art neutron choppers, meeting challenging requirements with diverse technologies, many adopted from other disciplines.

About the role

As the successful candidate for the Chopper Development Engineer role your main areas of responsibility will be to:


• Coordinate and perform activities related to the development of neutron choppers and specifically in relation to the Scope Transfers from the in kind partners for the *design, procurement, integration, testing and delivery of high energy absorbing (T0) choppers for the DREAM, ODIN and HEIMDA*L neutron scattering instruments
• Lead, participate in activities related to the installation, commissioning and maintenance of chopper systems across the instrument suite.
• Ensures the supply of all required documentation for the integration, installation, use and maintenance of deliverables.
• Ensuring the safe operation, performance and maintainability of systems under development.
• Contribute to the scientific output and reputation of ESS, through developments, directly or indirectly relating to neutron chopper technology such as coating of chopper discs
• Serve as a chopper contact point to the designated instrument teams DREAM, ODIN and T-REX by providing relevant information and instrument support related to neutron chopper systems
• Assist the instrument teams by managing the characterization, preparation, installation, cold commissioning, and training of staff when required,
• Provide required documentation to support the installation and maintenance of components.

About you

We would expect you to have the following background: 


• Minimum 5-7 years in a similar international organisation and role, longer experience would be an advantage
• Bachelor or preferred Master degree in a Mechanical engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years, Experience with 3D Software preferable CATIA and/or Solid works
• Experience in leading the manufacture of multidisciplinary engineering projects involving electro/mechanical components and complex machinery.
• Experience with rotating machinery, kinetic energy storage systems would be an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite

What you will do:
As our new Development Engineer trainee, you will become part of our Distribution Equipment organization that develops logistical equipment like Cardboard Packers and Film Wrappers. This is a challenging area with a lot of competition as well as increasing customer demands on robustness, flexibility and capacity. The equipment includes a lot of dynamic movements and complex package and material interactions. We use modern actuators like servos and robotics to cope with the demand in combination with advanced simulations to provide an optimized design and bring a competitive edge. The design is often a combination of mechanical and automation to achieve the best solution. The person we are looking for is someone that is eager and skilled to work in this area combined with solid mechanical design and simulation capability.
You will work as an expert serving multiple teams with this competence. Drive studies on Aseptic Technologies, including existing and new technologies and methods 
Maintain and develop current and new methodologies used for the validation of aseptic requirements, including modelling of simulation models (in particular, computational fluid dynamics) 
Translate market and technical requirements into technical specifications, focusing on aseptic processes, e.g. machine sterilization, packaging material sterilization and cleaning. 
Run technology scouting and build competence networks with external suppliers and other partners 
Participate in the definition of verification & validation strategy related to aseptic and filling processes in support to product and technology development projects, and support projects with competence on aseptic systems and with the validation strategy 
Participate in technology know-how projects for specific technical initiatives 
Advice Tetra Pak organisations and interact with the international teams based in Modena and Lund 
Supporting projects and activities defining simulation and modelling strategies and perform CFD simulations according to internal standards

This is a permanent position and based in Lund (Sweden). 
Who you are
Education and Languages:
Master of Science degree or higher education in physics or engineering with strong competence in the area of technologies. 
You are fluent both in written and spoken English.
Professional Skills and Experience:
You have a strong analytical background and experience in preparing high level reports and you can anticipate and understand complex situation and issues. A deep experience of Modelling and Simulation techniques (minimum 3-5 years), in particular CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) and technical knowledge of aseptic and filling methodologies. 
Knowledge of Ansys CFX, Fluent and Siemens StarCCM+ is considered as an advantage.

As a person you have excellent analytical and communication skills. You are accountable and responsible, accurate and detail oriented. You can work in groups and support others, as well as use informal authority to drive people and influence at all levels in the organisation.
