Basic qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer with an overall understanding of software development for MedTech products.

You have a good system view and know what works and what doesn´t work and understand the hardware connections as well as the different building blocks in an embedded system. You also have a strong interest in embedded development and are comfortable with many different embedded platforms and operating systems. For the right candidate, 5 years of working experience is not a hard requirement.

You need great communication skills both in spoken and written English. Ability to understand and interpret customer needs and transform these into a manufacturable design is essential.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
A team-oriented person who enjoys the variety of working in smaller and larger teams.
Open-minded and have a genuine technical interest.

Our customers need our help in a steadily growing number of exiting camera/sensor related in-house development projects, so we are currently looking for more people to join us. You'll be joining the Optoelectronics design team at Sigma Connectivity and get to work in some of the most challenging multi-disciplinary projects within the wireless connectivity technology. For this position we are looking for junior engineers.
As an opto-electronics engineer, you will work closely with colleagues within the industrial design, mechanics, radio/antenna, audio development, electronics, prototype labs, quality assurance, production design, operation, software development etc, as a member of a project team. Together with us, you will be working on both consumer products and medical technology products that are confidential and containing the latest technology.
Basic qualifications
We are looking for someone who great co-operation skills. We also want you to be open-minded, have a genuine technical interest and a lot of drive. You should feel that you are self-motivated and have the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
We are looking for applicants with some of the following skills and experiences.
Master of Science degree in engineering physics or computer science or similar.
Understanding of optics and image sensor technology.
Knowledge in design and integration of optoelectronic components such as cameras, camera flashes and/or other optical sensors.
Good knowledge of image processing e.g. sharpening, noise reduction, edge detection, white balancing, color reconstruction, scaling, etc.
Knowledge in computer and/or machine vision.
Experienced user of Matlab or Python or similar.
Experience in optical simulation and modelling (i.e. Light tools and Zemax)
Professional English (speaking & writing)
