About the job

As Operational Purchaser you are part of the department responsible for purchasing raw material and components at our factory in Lund. This is a full-time job, and your primary tasks will be:

Create purchase orders for purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery target.

Ensure and monitor supply of required components and raw material.

Daily work in ERP and inventory management.

Communication, dialogue, and close collaboration with suppliers.

Close dialogue and collaboration with internal customers.

Follow up on supplier performance and suggest improvements.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague that enjoy working with supply chain / logistics and have a good supply chain understanding. You drive your work forward, have a methodical mindset; you are a team player and see change as a natural part of the work.

What you know

You have a background within purchasing or a degree within purchasing / supply chain.

As a global organization, speaking and writing English is prerequisite.

Knowledge within Jeeves and production is a plus.

Who Is your future team?
You will lead and manage a team of about 12 RMA Supply and Reverse logistics professionals. The purpose of the team is to manage customer returns to RMA (Return Material Authorization) partners as well as Returns to vendors.

What you'll do here as a Reverse logistics and Supply manager
In this position you will play a vital role in delivering on Axis' service offerings to customers. You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding execution of the reverse supply chain by coaching and guiding the team members in a rather complex environment.

Operating the reverse supply chain includes working with RMA partners in stock replenishment, inventory control, RMA site support and performance follow up as well as managing the logistics of units returned to manufacturing partners for repair or rework. The work requires close interaction with multiple specialists internally in Axis and with external stakeholders.

Your main tasks will be to:

* Coach the team and individuals in their daily work, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
* Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have the right competence, ways of working and tools as well as a relevant network within the organization.
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of each individual.
* Participate in strategy work and drive improvement projects within the organization.
* Perform ordinary management tasks such as development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitments etc.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with a strong drive to lead people. You are a team driven person with previous experience in leading positions as well as experience with Supply Chain Management. * A university degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or similar

Operations is the part of Axis' organization that is responsible for the supply and distribution of our products. We are also the link between Axis R&D and our global market, working with industrialization of new products. Today we are some 400 persons working within Operations. Apart from delivering what is needed to today's market, we are currently working hard to prepare for the significant growth projected in the coming years. This effort is central to the Operations Development team. We develop and improve Operations, both internally and externally, i.e. both within Axis and in our global supply chain. What will you do? Are you the one that we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with an engineering education, most likely from Industrial Engineering & Management (I) or Mechanical Engineering (M), or a similar background. Your studies were probably focused on Supply Chain Management with good academic results, and you have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and social - teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Axis. In addition, you are structured and analytical. You can work independently but at the same time you successfully collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. You have experience and a proven track record of initiating, executing and completing supply chain and business improvement projects. To be successful in this role you need strong communication skills; both Swedish and English are absolute requirements. You will work closely with the project stakeholders to fully understand their issues, create and implement strategies for change, and turn potential into performance. You enjoy and excel at developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders. You also thrive in an environment where you plan your own activities, drive initiatives and take responsibility for the result. A strong drive and self-leadership are essential.
