Key tasks as Test Leader

- Coach and lead the team in verification and validation work.
- Manage development projects together with the Development Manager and Product Manager.
- Write test plans and test reports, as well as analyze test results and report defects.
- Ensure that there is a strong integration of testing throughout the development process with early test planning and exploratory tests.
- Continue to develop the testing process in an agile direction together with other Test Leaders.


Qualifications

You need to have

- Master of Science or equivalent in related field.
- Experience in leading test activities and planning/coordinating testing in software development projects.
- Experience in writing documents for quality assurance or other technical documentation.
- A well-developed communicative ability that reflects in your way of communicating with others as well as in your ability to summarize your work in writing, both in English and in Swedish.


It’s an advantage if you have

- Knowledge of all levels of the testing pyramid, from unit tests to system tests.
- Experience driving agile transformation.
- Some knowledge of programming.
- Previous experience in MedTech or other regulated environments.

About the position

You will be a key part in one of our two Development Applications teams, consisting of an almost even mix of males and females and with roots in five different nations. The team specializes in programming and digital image processing that is used in our software to automatically classify cells in blood and body fluids. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in our entire development process; from algorithm development, implementation, code reviews and documentation, to the creation and execution of tests.
