Alfa Laval is looking for a Finance Process Specialist
What’s in it for you?
Alfa Laval is on an exciting, but also challenging, journey. We are set to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet, through Digital transformation, focus on Sustainability and being an Attractive workplace.
You will be part of a high performing team; the Global Finance Competence Center, where you will continue to grow and develop your skills further. Your work will have a true impact on Alfa Laval’s future success.
Alfa Laval offers great career opportunities in a global environment, with a competitive total compensation model, encouraging a mix of working from both the office and the home.
About the job
Your main focus is to develop, document and roll out global finance processes and tools to improve transactional efficiency and business performance. You will do this in close cooperation with the Finance Shared Service Centers in Krakow, Pune, Richmond and Shanghai and the local Finance organisations around the globe.
The Global Finance Competence Center is a team of 11 people, the larger group being located at the Alfa Laval headquarters in Lund, but with team members also in Stockholm and Buenos Aires. We are specialized in the Finance processes and supporting tools and you will report directly to Global Finance Process Lead, Jonas Håkansson.
We work closely with ERP-developers and integration resources in designing and testing new functionalities.
You will be conducting workshops, coach and train others when implementing the new systems to new sites or giving support to live sites. This is a global role, and some travel might be required.
Alfa Laval is running this digital transformation supported by the SAFe methodology (Scaled Agile Framework), which enables teams to deliver value faster, with greater quality and predictability, and with better ability to respond to change. We are organised in Value Streams, with self-reliant and empowered Agile teams, supported by Scrum masters and with the Business Owners setting the priorities. All team members are being trained in the SAFe ways of working and will be certified if passing the exam.
Who are you?
You want to work with improving and developing the level of finance processes within an international and cross-cultural environment, working in line with the Alfa Laval drivers; Action, Interaction, Satisfaction. You possess a good understanding of how finance processes are set-up, maintained and works in an ERP system. You like to question the ways of working and drive change by motivating and engaging others.
Furthermore, you have an analytical and solution-oriented approach and are good at creating great teamwork and results with your colleagues. You possess an ability to overview a complex data landscape and have a structured way of working and a logical sense.
Your background
We think that you have a university degree within Finance, Business Administration or similar and at least 5 – 7 years’ work experience. You have worked mainly within accounting and/or controlling and have as well experience from a more technical role as super user for a relevant IT system. What´s crucial though is that you have gained a solid understanding of how an ERP system supports the finance processes and that you are familiar with the issues users are facing and the importance of high performing processes.
Already being trained in SAFe, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalently is an advantage, as well as been involved in an ERP-roll-out before. Additionally, you need good knowledge in Excel and other BI tools.
Our current largest ERP platforms are M3 and iScala, but we are gradually shifting to Microsoft D365. For D365 there is still a lot of work to do in building a future proof global template for all the ERP modules, and Finance is playing a big role in safeguarding the standards, regulations, and the assets of the company. So, experience from D365, especially within Sales and Service, is a merit but not a must. Visa mindre
