Som strategisk inköpare arbetar du med att utveckla och driva långsiktiga inköpsstrategier för komplexa system, delprojekt och outsourcinglösningar. Rollen har ett tydligt fokus på leverantörsutveckling, kostnadsoptimering och riskhantering i leveranskedjan.
Du verkar nära teknik, produktion, projektledning och logistik för att säkerställa att inköpsarbetet stödjer verksamhetens mål och projektens tekniska och kommersiella krav. About the Role

As a Product & Application Engineer in our Energy Division, you will provide technical solutions in collaboration with our sales and service teams, focusing on heat transfer products and applications. You will be a key link between our external sales team, customers, and central organization.

Scope of the assignment

We are looking for a Senior Supplier Manager – Category leader for Downstream Equipment and Electrical Cabinets who will have a high level of responsibility in Supplier Management Equipment and Parts, leading the definition and the execution of the procurement category strategies and supplier related activities in alignment with business strategies, to secure the achievement of KPI’s related to quality, cost and delivery and strong focus on securing supply.
The position is permanent and preferably based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do
As a Senior Supplier Manager you will be responsible for defining the Downstream Equipment and Electrical Cabinets strategies, drive supplier selection and development in accordance with business strategy, risk management, global process and quality requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting benchmarks with new potential suppliers and will be accountable for the cross-functional execution of the supply chain transformation. We believe you have
We believe you have a university degree in Economics or Engineering and at least 5-10 years’ working experience in supplier management, supplier quality management or account management. You have solid knowledge of SAP, BO, Ariba, PowerBI. You have a deep knowledge of Tetra Pak equipment supply chain as well as SuM Supplier base management policies and procedures. You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful global procurement strategies and extensive experience in high-level stakeholder management and strategic decision-making.
You are expert in Suppliers negotiations, and you have proven track records of Supplier management activities in sourcing, contracting, negotiations and strategy execution. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
You are an open-minded person with a strong drive for results. Your communication skills are excellent and work cross-functionally at all levels with different stakeholders is natural for you. About the role:

ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being a world-class operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer (Technical Procurement Manager) for the Supply, Procurement and Logistics Division – which is organised within the Project Support & Administration Directorate. The Supply, Procurement and Logistics Division sets the normative framework in regard to procurement, logistics and travel services. It provides procurement and logistics services and guidance for the organisation; including ESS staff, in-kind partners and other stakeholders, in order to ensure a functional, efficient and cost-effective supply chain in compliance with relevant rules, processes and procedures.

This role involves directing, planning, coordinating, organising, conducting and controlling procurement for ESS, and includes worldwide procurement of a broad range of commodities and services for the project. The position will be matrixed to the ESS Technical Office. The Technical Office is an executive team that assists with the execution and delivery of the technical programme and drive transition to operations.

Your job will be to support the establishment and follow-up of a common procurement/contracting plan and aids technical teams on technical procurement and contracting as well as serving as a point of contact for central technical functions such as safety, quality, engineering and maintenance for technical procurement and finance matters. The position is key in driving the development and maturity of the integration between different systems used throughout the planning and procurement process, with the overall aim to create an efficient and cohesive end-to-end process from defining demand in the projects, executing the applicable procurement procedures, paying invoices, registering fixed assets, receiving goods and registering the received goods and assets in our EAM and ERP systems.

As part of our team, you'll support the establishment, execution, and follow-up of a common contracting and procurement plan. Coordination is key, and you'll work closely with central functions to ensure that all necessary information is provided for technical procurements. Attention to detail is crucial as you verify documented readiness and stakeholder involvement before contracts are placed. You'll be the backbone of support for system owners throughout the contracting process, ensuring smooth execution and delivery. As we build our ESS Part Master, your procurement perspective will be invaluable.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll liaise with teams from procurement and logistics, finance, IT (ERP), EAM, and beyond. Together, we'll develop and create the necessary processes and governing documents to drive our ESS forward.

About you:

To thrive with us in the Supply, Procurement and Logistics division, you should not be a stranger to public procurement. Your in-depth understanding of public procurement principles and EU directives will be instrumental as you navigate the intricacies of our procurement landscape. Drafting and negotiating tender documents must be second nature, as you have over a decade of hands-on experience in this area. You are a proven subject matter expect, and you’ll be expected to advise on contract management matters - ensuring that agreements are robust and aligned with organisational objectives.

About the role:

The ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we now need Senior Procurement Officer/Technical Procurement Manager to join our Supply, Procurement and Logistics (SPL) division. In this position you will be hired into SPL and matrixed to the Technical Office – which is an executive team that assists the Technical Director and Associate Director for Operations and Infrastructure to execute and deliver the technical programme and drive the transition to operations.

In this role, you will act as Senior Procurement Officer and your main task is to create and execute the technical procurement function. This will involve supporting the establishment, execution and follow-up of a common contracting and procurement plan, coordinating central functions to ensure that required information is provided to place a technical procurement as well as verifying readiness requirements and involvement of stakeholders and functions before placing a contract.

The role will also involve supporting system owners in contracting, following up on contract execution and delivery, the development of ESS processes and templates, and assisting with the creation and build-up of the ESS Part Master from a procurement perspective. You will also be required to provide functional requirements to ESS business software.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at the ESS Campus in Lund, Sweden.

About you:

To thrive with us in the Supply, Procurement and Logistics division, you need to be driven, responsive and good at spotting both problems and opportunities. You need to be a highly motivated, self-driven person who can bring significant, demonstrable experience of working in a procurement function within large-scale projects.

First and foremost, we need someone who is suitably qualified and experienced. Ideally, this means a University degree or equivalent within Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, Finance and/or Engineering. However relevant, technical experience in a similar role is more critical than the type of qualification you hold. We expect the successful candidate to have at least 10 years of experience from complex and advanced procurements, preferably on an international/European level. A strong background in public procurement, including working knowledge of public procurement principles and relevant EU procurement directives, is a prerequisite for this role.

We need you to bring significant experience of drafting and negotiating procurement contracts and advising on matters related to contract management as well as international, European and/or Swedish customs, VAT and tax legislation. In this position you will be responsible for execution of the Supplier Management sourcing strategy in the product development projects driven in the Development & Technology organization. In our assembly factory in Lund, we produce and deliver heat exchangers around the world. Within FSB Supplier Management, Module Equipment & Drawn Components, Industrialisation Team primarily interfaces with the Development & Engineering organization to define and achieve its project targets. What you will do
In this position you will be responsible for execution of the Supplier Management sourcing strategy in the product development projects driven in the Development & Engineering organization. This is a cross-functional leadership role which facilitates early supplier technical engagement and collaboration in the development activities. This role brides the engineering community with the supplier management community with the responsibility for project management and accountability for deadlines, results and metrics, sourcing, negotiation and cost estimation. You will also
Acts as a liaison with engineering in releasing new products.
Lead early supplier technical engagement in cost improvement activities. Support development teams to meet product cost targets though cost estimations and negotiations.
Actively participate in project team meetings and represents the voice of the Supplier Management and Production.
Reduce product risk through proper sourcing strategy execution. Drive use of ‘Preferred’ suppliers. Provide the project team with supply chain risk assessments which include obsolescence, delivery, currency, logistics and other risks.
Project manages the communication and activities between the development team and the supplier management organization. (i.e. supplier selection, supplier negotiations, sourcing strategy development, non-disclosure agreements, supplier issue resolution, etc.) Facilitates the establishment of supply management parameter guidelines with buyers and planners. (i.e. production authorization agreements, lot size, lead time, logistics, packaging, etc.)
Measure and track sourcing strategy execution impact on the product and the business (i.e. product cost reductions achieved, percent of parts awarded to ‘Preferred’ suppliers, risk mitigation, etc.)
Collaborate with the Sourcing organization to provide market information to the NPI team (i.e. supplier technology roadmaps, price and availability trends, benchmarking results, etc.).
Interface and build strong working relationships within the organization.

Who you are
Demonstrated ability to manage projects / assignments requiring identification of objectives, resources and/or approaches.
Moderate understanding of sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics and production principles.

Having SAP experience is highly desired. Project Management (PMP) certification is preferred, and you have knowledge of World Class Manufacturing. You are fluent in English both spoken and written.
You will need a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills. As a person you are a driver with strong communication skills, and you feel confident to cooperate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at executive level to achieve common goals and maintain effective working relationships. You can convince others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical, and efficient.

· Bachelor’s in engineering / Economics and Master’s within Business Management / Logistics / Quality or similar. Preferably a mix between Engineering and Management/Economics.
· You have finished your Master’s in 2019 or will finish your Master’s spring 2020 (newly graduate)
· Skills in Excel, PowerBI, Lean Six Sigma, Quality, Logistics, Software Knowledge is considered a merit.
· You possibly have maximum of one-year relevant experience Supplier Management.
· You’re fluent in English, written and spoken, preferably on a professional level of English.
· This Programme requires that you are mobile/flexible and willing to relocate during rotations internally.
· Previous international studies/experience is considered as a merit in this recruitment.
